Kurt Hummel didn't know the first thing about being sexy, but that didn't matter to Blaine Anderson. He thought Kurt was the most beautiful, compassionate man alive. In fact, Blaine loved Kurt. He loved Kurt with his obsessive love of Wicked, his love of fashion and Vogue and his voice. In Blaine's opinion, Kurt had the voice of an angel. So no, it didn't bother him that the man he loved supposedly didn't know the first thing about sexy.
Blaine stared at his boyfriend, watching the way his mouth moved as he talked about nationals, not really listening. As interested as he was in Kurt's trip, he was more interested in watching Kurt, trying to figure out the perfect way to tell Kurt that he was in love with him. You see, Kurt loved romance. Kurt once told Blaine, "I love romance. That's why I love Broadway musicals. A touch of the fingertips is as sexy as it gets." Blaine knew how important this would be to him, so he wanted it to be perfect.
Blaine couldn't help but recall all the times that he and Kurt had touched, from the first moment in the hallway, right after they had met, to moments ago when they met at this coffee shop. Every touch caused Blaine's heart to skip a beat and his breathing to become irregular. Kurt's hands were so soft, and every time he took Blaine's hand, ran his hands through Blaine's hair, or touched his face in a sweet, romantic way, Blaine couldn't help but think just how perfect this man was. He was just... Kurt. He was everything Blaine saw in Jeremiah and Rachel, but so much more. He was sexy without trying, incredibly romantic, funny and charming. And that's when it hit him, how very much he loved one amazing Kurt Hummel. So Blaine couldn't be blamed when he just couldn't stop the words from spilling from his mouth, no matter how imperfect the moment.
"I love you."
Kurt smiled, and Blaine grinned, loving that smile. He could stare at Kurt's smile and get lost in his beautiful eyes all day.
"... I love you too! You know when you stop and think about it, Kurt Hummel's had a pretty good year."
And you know, when you stop to think about it, so had Blaine Anderson. And he wouldn't change a thing.
