Disclaimer: Wakabe Writing Firm doesn't own Lord of the Rings
A/N: Moving away from cute things, and having a more older!Estel moment here. Hope you don't mind. This is an expirement with another writing style that her English professor introduced. So many apologies if it's not up to par, but she does need to try different things in order to improve. Nonetheless, we do hope you enjoy and drop a comment or two about what she can do to improve. Many thanks, please enjoy.- Moriah (Secret Secretary, Wakabe Writing Firm)
I'm all right, Elladan. Really brother, you must stop this panicking, it isn't good for your heart. I feel a bit funny, maybe a bit tingly in my toes and my fingers, but that's about it. You know, you really must stop fussing so. It'll ruin your image with the others. Aren't you supposed to be one of the Sons of Thunder? Named so because whenever you go after the yrch, the orc, the beasts of Mordor, it is with the fury of a storm?
Really, Elladan, it's just a scratch. What? Gwardor nin, you mustn't whisper so lowly. You know that I haven't your ears, elven in nature and so much better than my own inferior rounded, human, mortal ears. And how unfair it is, that you should have better ears than I. Have I told you that before? Really, you elves have all the luck. Do you think that there's any logic to that? I don't think so.
Elladan, gwardor nin, I love you dearly, but I am truly all right. No, no, don't push me down. Really, Elladan, you needn't push so hard. i am well aware of how strong you are and how much you love me and want to protect me, but isn't this getting a bit out of hand? Now, let me up so that we can attend to the wounded. No, brother, my wounds do not constitute as dire. Really, you act as though you've never seen a bit of blood before. No, brother, really, this is not that bad.
Elladan, really, you don't need all those bandages. It's only a cut, hardly in need of so many wrappings. Oh, I feel a bit light-headed. Elladan, daro! You don't need to bring out the needle, I am fine! Really, I don't feel any pain. Come to think of it, I don't feel much of anything.
No, no, Elladan, don't call Elrohir over here. Really, he must be exhausted after the fight, and it really isn't fair to him. Besides, he's probably got injuries himself. Let him take care of those before making him look after such a small cut.
Elladan, why are you getting fuzzy? I don't think I've anything in my eyes. But maybe someone kicked up some dust, because my throat feels a bit funny. Elladan?
Elladan? Why is there blood on your hands? You had them on my chest but a moment ago. And I know I'm not that badly hurt.
Elladan?
Elladan...
