I've wanted to pair Lance and Larmina in a story for awhile. I saw awhile back in the Voltron Forum that a few people blogged about wanting them to be together. Like I stated in the summary, this takes place late in Voltron Force. I needed Larmina to be of age (for obvious reasons) although there is not citrus (this is rated T). Some people may find Lance and Larmina paired together as creepy, but obviously not Keith and Allura would be creepy. ha! Like I said, she's older and this is a stretch and is in her point of view. It's also written in present tense although I am not a fan of that, but I thought the story flowed better written that way. I hope if you read, you review.
I do not own Voltron or its characters. This is all written for fun and reviews. I make no money from this or any of my stories.
I can't stay away from him. I can't stop thinking about him. I can't sleep at night. My heart beats constantly. He's life. He's beauty. He's fire and I'm ice. No one thinks about him the way I do about him. We are two of a kind! He's arrogant, brash, cocky and daring, but I can handle him. My Lance! I would die without him. Those mesmerizing hazel eyes, that dazzling smile and oh Gods! Those muscular abs and powerful arms that hold me tight. I've been dreaming of being in them for so long!
My Lance and I are lying here on the fresh-cut grass outside of the castle gates away from prying eyes and eavesdropping ears while in each other's arms. I'm faintly aware of the lush green grass with its clover scattered about all against my back and the scent of the wild red and blue native flowers spirling upwards on the locked wooden fence behind us. It provides us with the privacy that we need to be together alone. I inhale Lance's masculine scent and catch whiffs of his spicy aftershave as one of my hands grasp into his hair and the other holds onto his sinewy back. I can't pull him close enough to me and yet his hands are everywhere in my hair, at my sides, touching my face and my neck. I can hear the faint sound in the distance of children laughing and crowds of people chatting, laughing as it's the annual castle carnival and I can hear Lance breathing in my ear after he kisses me over and over. All I feel is him. It's the warmth from his hands as it radiates through my dress heating my flesh and the damp spots left on my skin from those passionate kisses. We don't need to go all the way, not this time at least. I'm just satisfied to lie here like this and kiss him forever.
This secret romance that we both hide deep down is something so unique and we don't want anyone to know. I think of my aunt and uncle and how it must have been hard for them hiding their romance from the team and her nanny and Coran. Was it this exciting? Was it this thrilling?
So, how did I end up here with Lance? Okay, hang on. Let me back up a bit. After Daniel got Haggerium, he got pretty twisted and sick. There was not way he could fly Black, so Keith took it over again. Daniel passed away. He was my first love and I was crushed, but eventually moved on to the man that comforted me. Lance. We've had something go one for some time and it just keeps building and building and getting better. No one knows about us, at least I don't think so. Finally, we've had some time to get away from the festival and from the castle especially my aunt and Uncle Keith until now.
Suddenly, I'm hearing my aunt's voice calling him. Oh no! I hope she doesn't catch us together!
"Mmm, gotta go Larmy," he murmurs against my jaw as he starts to let go of me. Ugh! That nickname he has for me. I hate and love it at the same time. "I've gotta give a speech," he whispers breathlessly into my ear before planting a wet kiss on it. I make my disappointment well-known to him by letting out a groan and squeezing him tighter to me. I only hear him chuckle before his lips trail over to my eyes and he gives me a soft kiss on each eyelid. "We'll be alone again soon. I promise," he reassures me genttly. Oh, can he get my heartbeat soaring into orbit! Releasing me before one last peck of his lips against mine, he rises to his feet and straightens up while patting his suit brushing off leaves, brush, dirt before opening the fence quickly. Beyond the fence, I can hear my aunt Allura scolding him as she had been searching forever for him.
I feel slightly stung, but then it hits me. My aunt is just on the other side of the fence and it's as though she were to catch me with him. It's exciting, yet aggravating at the same time as my heart thuds uncontrollably in my chest. I get to my feet and pull up the straps of my cocktail dress and then search for my sandals. One is lying under a hedge and the other is propped up against the fence.
"Lance! What are you doing here? Coran saw you come down here fifteen minutes ago! You are supposed to give a speech in five minutes!" I hear my aunt nearly screaming in a tangem at him and as I retrieve my sandal, I peak through the narrow spaces in the wooden fence. I spy my aunt Allura yelling and she's got her hands frantically flailing before she takes a handkerchief out and wipes traces of my bright red lipstick off of Lance's face before she begins to stomp off in her royal blue high heels while in a tirade with him following her. I hear him apologizing and laughing at the same time. That's my Lance! They are still within earshot, but I follow a safe, yet close distance behind. I don't want to miss his speech. He'll be talking to a crowd of thousands about being the new headmaster of the space academy. It's an opportunity of a lifetime for him.
We make it back to the castle, to the high balcony overlooking a sea of so many people waiting to hear my love speak. Uncle Keith is there waiting for my aunt and Lance. I watch as Lance leaves and heads towards the podium to give his speech.
"Where was he?" my uncle Keith turns and whispers to my aunt. While waiting for Lance to speak, they are standing behind me.
"Making out with some random floozy!" I hear my aunt answer back and I freeze. Did she really say that about me? I mean, she doesn't know it wasme making out with him! But, now I'm some 'floozy'? Really!
"Surprise, surprise," Uncle Keith responds. I don't turn around, but I can tell he is smirking and is probably thoroughly amused. Really? So, Lance only makes out with 'floozies? I'm ticked off as I feel a warmth flush of anger fill up my whole body. I can't believe they are saying this, but it's what my aunt Allura said next that made me want to get the hell out of there.
"Except for Ginger, Lance never really had good taste in women."
Wow! If only they knew. He and Ginger broke up long ago! I am so furious, that I part my way through the crowd that's beginning to break up, yet still clapping and cheering. I've missed every word of my love's speech thanks to my aunt and uncle. Despite the crowd, I hear heavy footsteps behind following me.
"Larmina! Where are you going?" the masculine voice asks. I realize it's Uncle Keith and as I whip around, he's towering over me in his crisp black and red military suit. It's like he's giving me a funny look and then suspiciously narrows his eyes that are now staring at the side of my neck. "What have you been up to?" he asks me now with what can only be a cominical grin on his face as though he would burst out laughing any minute.
Subduing my agitation mixed with embarrassment, I can only respond with, "not much," and I make a beeline for the ladies room. After I slam the door in the restroom, I gaze at my reflection in the mirror. Sure enough, the red mark on my neck says it all.
