"Naruto, don't let your dream die" Sasuke said, as his body became limp, and his eyes lidded themselves slowly. 'No, Sasuke!' Naruto yelled internally. Sasuke may have been a bastard, but he was his best friend too.

"Is this the first time on of your friends has died in battle, this is part of what it means to be a shinobi" the masked boy said in a monotone, as he receded back into one of the many ice mirrors that entrapped our blonde hero.

The masked boy, unknown to Naruto, was actually Haku, a boy that Naruto had met previously in the woods. Haku did feel bad for what Naruto had to go through, however Zabuza's orders were Zabuza's orders.

Haku had a mess of emotions currently running over his hidden face, one being sadness. He had never liked killing in the first place, and to take away another's precious person was horrifying. He knew all too well the feeling of having no one to call friend or family.

Naruto was feeling plenty of things as well. One of which, by far the most prominent, was anger. Anger at the masked boy for what he had done, anger at Sasuke for dying on him, and anger at himself for being nothing but dead weight.

The second most apparent emotion Naruto was feeling, was hatred. Most experience this emotion at one point or another during their life, but few do at the level that Naruto felt at that current moment, especially at his age.

This raw hatred was a foreign feeling to Naruto. Granted, he had plenty of reasons to feel it before. However he never acted on them. The villagers of Konoha for one. Until recently, he had never known the reason for his resentment, so he had no reason to hate them. He had no idea if their anger was justified or not.

His current level of hatred though, he felt no remorse for having. His best friend/rival had just died in his arms, and that does many things to grown men's emotional stability, much less a twelve year old child. He felt hate for the first time, and it was directed at one person.

The masked boy. It was as if the mask itself was taunting him. Appearing emotionless on the outside, but silently cackling like a cruel and sadistic madman at his expense.

Shadows covered Naruto's eyes, and he grit his teeth. "Shut up" he growled out, his unforgiving rage apparent with every word he spoke. "I hated you too Sasuke, and yet…" he spoke softly, whispering almost, as if Sasuke were simply asleep and he didn't wish to wake him.

The ground of the bridge beneath him began to crack. Debris varying in size of pebbles to stones as large as a fist rose around him. The bits of stable ground that existed only directly beneath his feet as well as his skin began to steam.

'What's happening?' Haku thought in surprise, eyes widening beneath his mask. Naruto's iris' and pupils vanished, only leaving blank white eyes. Oddly, this seemed to make him more intimidating than he would have normally, as he appeared to be a possessed shell, with no control.

Naruto tilted his head towards Haku. "I'm gonna rip you apart!" he growled. A golden aura suddenly appeared around him, encircling him in what looked to be gold flames. His jacket and shirt ripped off of him, revealing that the transformation had increased his muscle mass by a small amount.

He shot forward at speeds that seemed to be inhuman, even for shinobi. Haku shot forward at similarly impressive speeds, pulling out two senbon that he wielded as though they were kunai. His attacks left several slashes across Naruto's chest and back, as well as one on his left cheek.

Paying no mind, Naruto stopped in midair, his tilting head the only indication he was looking for something. He saw what would have been a blur to him not five minutes ago become clear. Haku's speeding form became as clear to him as an apple falling from a table.

Haku's left arm moved forward, attempting to make another slash across Naruto's body. Naruto however, had other ideas. Naruto grabbed Haku's fist, and his golden aura flared up. Yellow light bathed everything within reach.

Haku attempted to pry his arm from Naruto's grasp, to no avail. Naruto pulled Haku's arm forward, and used his left elbow and his knee to crush Haku's arm. Naruto tossed Haku up in the air, and as he released Haku, his left arm was shown to have bits of golden aura like Naruto's still there.

When Haku came back into range, upside down, and face in the opposite direction from Naruto, he (Naruto) clenched his fist. Naruto released an earth shattering punch to Haku's spine. Haku burst through one of the ice mirrors.

When he landed, Naruto snap vanished to where Haku was. He rose his foot in the air, and brought it down on Haku's neck, snapping it in half.

There was no time to lament his first kill though. His thoughts, however scrambled they were by what had happened to him, were halted by one sentence that he heard.

"Hey, Zabuza killed our meal ticket, maybe we should just rape the women and take the money from the town" one bandit that Gatou probably hired yelled out. How Naruto heard that, he had no idea. But at the word 'killed' he was enraged.

Firing toward the sound at supersonic speeds, the ground crumbled where he took a step. Bandits poured forward, however they were met by a glowing Naruto. As he had not changed back yet, he looked just as angry.

"What the hell is with that kid?" one bandit yelled in surprise, the grip on his sword loosening slightly. Naruto's glare intensified as he slowly advanced, cement that made up the bridge cracking slightly under each step.

One bandit decided to be a brave fool and charge Naruto, sword reared back. Naruto ducked under the blade with ease, and punched his hand straight through the bandit's chest.

Kakashi who had been watching from not too far away, was stunned. Naruto, one of the most happy go lucky people he had ever met, was killing people. Rather easily, from the look of it. When he had felt the energy coming from the direction of his two male students before, he had felt something ominous and malicious about it.

At first he had been worried that the Kyuubi may have escaped, but it didn't appear to be so. In fact, the golden energy that Naruto radiated at the time looked extremely familiar.

The rest of the bandits were shaking at the leisurely manner that their comrade had been killed in. They felt no sorrow that he had been killed, sure. However they were more worried about the fact that Naruto could probably very easily do the same to them.

"Fuck that! No amount of money is worth my life!" and many comments of similar orientations were called out. The remaining bandits running off in fear.

The golden aura around Naruto began to dissipate, and his iris' and pupils returned. His build returned to its original size, and his body showed signs of strain. He dropped to his knees, and began panting like he was out of breath.

Kakashi ran up to his student, who looked up at him. "S-Sensei, I" he stuttered out, the reality of killing two other human beings finally entering his mind. "Calm down Naruto, it'll be alright" Kakashi soothed, taking his first life at half Naruto's age and being in Anbu giving him plenty of experience with coping.

Sakura, Naruto's lone female team mate, was also shocked by a death. Though unlike Naruto, it wasn't one that she caused. She was currently grieving the death of Sasuke. You see, Sakura had been infatuated with Sasuke.

She was now clutching him to her body in a similar fashion that one would do to a teddy bear. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, and she was sobbing into his shoulder, making sure to be careful of the many senbon sticking out from his body.

She heard a groan and light breathing. "S-Sakura, that hurts" the once lifeless Sasuke choked out. "Sasuke!" Sakura yelped out in surprise.

"You hear that Naruto, Sasuke's alive" Kakashi said with an eye smile, attempting to cheer Naruto up. It didn't help. In fact it made Naruto feel worse.

He now felt as if he had killed Haku for no reason. A wave of dread fell over him as he realized that he had unnecessarily taken a life. A wave of nausea soon accompanied said dread, causing him to empty his stomach on the bridge.

Kakashi rubbed Naruto's back, attempting to soothe the emotionally scarred Genin. He casually noted that Naruto's cuts and scratches were healing a quick rate, just like back with the demon brothers.

Kakashi sighed, knowing that things had changed, and will probably never be the same ever again. Quoting a certain Nara Jonin Commander, he felt that things were going to be troublesome in the coming weeks.

I know, I know, I haven't updated descendant of the sage in a while. I didn't realize until I started to write the second chapter how much I forgot of the three coming arcs. So I decided that I would stick with this until I finish re-watching the battle of fairy tail to edolas arcs. This is also something I've wanted to do for a while now, so I will probably update it more often as I have memorized the DBZ storyline. The reason I chose to do it now rather than leave no updates for a while was I got super hyped for xenoverse, which has been the center of my life for the past two days. With all these reasons combined, I bring you, Super Naruto! Man, I have to get better with titles…
