As the Oracle gazed out across the peaceful landscape she couldn't help but smile. Her words were true. Neo would be seen again as would Trinity, just not right now. Their time was over for the moment and everything had to begin again. This time, it would begin differently. No two beginnings were ever the same. Her eyes darted to a young couple walking through the grass, hand in hand. Smiles on both faces.
The man was maybe in his late 20's or early 30's and had rich chocolate eyes. The smile on his face made him look 10 years younger. The forest green button shirt and brown cargo pants showed off his finely toned body. He had short black hair. But most of all he looked content and at peace.
The women looked about equal in age and had a smile to match. Her cream white sweater and matching cargo skirt showed off her slim, yet toned body. She wore no make-up but by the looks the man was sending her, she didn't need any. Her hair was shoulder length and also black. She also looked content and at peace. Her stomach was bulging slightly which indicated that she was with child. This was the Oracle's doing.
But both figures eyes gave them away. Their eyes weren't those of ignorant people who knew nothing about what really was going on. They were eyes of two seasoned war veterans. Eyes of two people who went to hell and back but still managed to be together in the end. But neither of them saw that. Matter of fact, no one saw that. No one except the Oracle.
The Oracle watched as people began to appear as if the world hadn't ended only a matter of moments ago. These were the people that couldn't be unplugged. The people that were to old, to young or their minds wouldn't let go of the Matrix. These people would live in uninterrupted bliss like those in Zion. She knew the cycle would begin again but the peace would last as long as it could. Her eyes were once again drawn to the young couple. "May this life be more blessed than the last. Whatever has a beginning as an end, thanks to you. Live well, Thomas and Caitlin Anderson. May Neo and Trinity only be a dream that you do not dream. A memory that you do not remember. A life that was not lived." With those words spoke she seemed to disappear and the world went on as it had before. But this time with two extra souls. Souls that had died and had been reborn together. Soul-Mates even in the end.
