Note: Please review and watch out for wrong grammars and spellings. Just ignore the empty and hedging words. I admit I have a lot of them in each of my stories. The reason why I updated this at an earlier date is because I really can't wait to share this plot to all of you. I'm really not known for my patience. From now on then, I'll be updating three stories all at once. Oh, and I could only update during weekends and Fridays. Anyway, enjoy the Prologue. :)

Prologue

Have you ever tried playing games? Not even once did you complain or get tired or irritated, bored and confused? Sure, games are fun. They're fun if you're the one playing and enjoying and not the ones being played or teased. Games are exciting but baffling, tiring, regardless of what group you belong. When the game gets complicated, your mind is perplexed between who is actually playing and who is being played. You get lost and not all the time you win. I don't know all that, okay? For all I know is the simple happy meaning of fun and games. I didn't know that it's that complicated. I didn't know you'll be hurt in the end; and never did I expect that I'll be participating in playing this kind of fate.

Queens, in chess, are said to be the most influential and useful piece. They're supposed to be either the first or last one to protect the king. They're commonly the ones expected to end the game. Banishing the queen would give the opponent higher points and greater possibilities in winning. They're powerful for they move in different directions, making it easy for them to grasp and eliminate the intruder. Players would rather lose their pawns than their queen most especially their king. Though with that great power, still, the chess player needs to create strategies or its power will only be put to waste.

Life is like all of those things. It's a game that matters between life and death. There would always be this someone to try and gain control over you or defeat you. Once you did your part in saving the king or better yet, silence the enemy, you may leave the battlefield. You are free to leave the board. But even though when you think it's your time, there would always be this someone who's willing to give up everything and take your place just to save you from befalling into the enemy's lair.
