Elsa had been frightened all her life, each day the pain getting worse. Today she was scared, worried and paranoid all at once because today, today was her coronation day. She had been up all night pacing her bedroom floor thinking of what to do.

Elsa stood before a painting of her father on his coronation day. He stood proud and presentable. Elsa was not. She felt scared and fragile like a thin sheet of ice. Shaking, she took off her thin blue gloves and placed them on the cabinet in front of her. She stared at the golden candle stick and blue pot resting on the cabinet.

"Ok, Elsa. Conceal don't feel," Elsa whispered to herself as she reached towards the objects with quivering hands. She picked them up and instantly small swirls of ice escaped her hands and encased the candle stick and pot. Absentmindedly she threw them across the room and crouched on the floor making her hands into fists.

"I'm a monster, Dad! I can't do this," She said to the air. She would talk to herself occasionally because after her parents died she tried not to make contact with anyone. She thought no one would understand her powers, her pain, her fear. A knock on the door made Elsa look up from her position and stand up.

"Who is it?" She asked politely.

"Harry, Your majesty. I'm one of the guardsmen," The voice on the other side of the door said. Elsa quickly put her gloves on and wiped her eyes.

"I see. Come in," She said quietly. The door opened and a young man came in wearing armour with his hands positioned at his sides as he bowed.

"Your majesty, we are awaiting your command for the gates to be opened," He said in a polite but gruff voice.

"The gates, of course," Elsa could remember when the gates would be open when she was young. It had been so long. She could remember when her and Anna would run around playing in the streets. Anna. It was Elsa's fault the gates were shut in the first place. Finally, after all those years they would be open again.

"You may open them," Elsa weakly smiled.

"As you wish, your majesty," He bowed and exited the room. Elsa made her way to the doors and then was escorted by some guards to the church.

'Ok, Elsa. You can do this. It's only one day," She thought as she entered the church and walked down the aisle. Hundreds of people filed in and filled all the seats. Elsa looked around and saw Anna. How long had it been since she had seen her? To long. Anna stood not to far from Elsa. Elsa was about to wave but she saw Anna looking at some one. Rapunzel. Elsa and Anna's cousin. They hadn't seen her in years. Not since... not since the death of there parents. Even then Elsa hadn't spoken to her. Elsa hadn't seen or spoken to her sister or cousin in so long and yet they came for her.

"Elsa?" A voice distracted her from her thoughts, "Shall we begin?" Elsa turned to see the priest standing before her.

"Oh, Yes," Elsa said quietly. The priest nodded for Elsa to bow her head and she did so. A golden crown was placed on her head. As she stood up a red velvet pillow was in the priests hands. On laid was a golden sceptre and a golden ball. Elsa took a deep breath and reached for them. She was interrupted by a cough.

"The gloves," The priest quietly said. Elsa looked at her hands and slowly peeled them off. Her hands shook as she picked the sceptre and ball up. As she turned she felt a thousand eyes staring at her. Looking down at her hands small swirls of ice began taking shape. Quickly, she turned and placed her gloves back on her hands. She turned around to see hundreds of faces staring at her. Had they seen?
