AN: Hello again. Someone reviewed my story 'Just an Idiot' asking for another chapter containing Sherlock's POV, but I'd rather leave that as a one-shot to be honest, so I decided this will be my compromise. I'll do a series of one-shots all linked to 'The Reichenbach Fall' and include 'Just an Idiot' in it.
Here you go then.
Disclaimer: I disclaim. 'Sherlock' is the exclusive property of the BBC. Although I have been thinking of employing dear Jim to erm, acquire it for me.
Just an Idiot.
We've been through a lot, you and me.
We've seen things most people couldn't imagine, even in their wildest nightmares. I don't think anything has ever scared me so much as the time I spent with you. The things I saw.
I wouldn't have missed it.
We fought monsters together. For fun. It was terrifying. Bloody terrifying. You weren't ever scared, I don't think, except once. You told me then that doubt was the thing that you were scared of.
I want you to know that I never doubted you. Never.
In the end, all that needs saying is, I still trust you. And nothing can ever convince me that I'm wrong. Not even you, and, God knows, you've tried. Your 'note' said you were a liar. Everyone agrees now.
Everyone except me.
I know I'm just an idiot, but I thought you should know:
I could always tell when you were lying Sherlock.
AN: There it is then. Another one up soon! Xx
