This is about Omega, and what happened to him. He is actually Oliver Green, and went to school where the flock went.

Omega's Story

Oliver Green sat in his maths class, chewing on his pencil mindlessly. He could hear his math teacher droning on about something to do with sort of formula. He wasn't sure, and really couldn't care. Maths wasn't his thing, all the numbers got jumbled up in his head, and it was all to complicated for him. He was too busy staring across the class at Lissa. He had her for maths and German, two of his worst subjects. She didn't even know he existed, but then, no one did. Oliver was a nobody with no friends, and he knew it too. He was terrible at everything. He was quite good looking, but he had way to small clothes and greasy, knotted hair. He still couldn't help liking Lissa, with her beautiful, long red hair, and bright green eyes. She seemed to throw herself at every guy in school, except him of course. He sighed, but then came quickly back to Earth when he saw his math teacher in front of him, talking directly to him.

"Oliver, could you please hand in your homework."

Oh damn, not again.

"I...err....forgot. Sorry sir."

"Hmm, alright. You know the consequences. Detention after school, my form room."

Oliver groaned, but thought nothing else of it.

Oliver's POV

After school, made my way to Mr. Frisco's form room, 10.2. No one noticed or cared I was gone as usual. Who cared, I didn't want to hang out with them any way. I'm different to them, I'm independent, always have been. I don't need anyone. See, almost convinced myself.

The detention wasn't long, though it felt like it. I had to do my missed homework and extra too. As I walked out, it started to rain. I swore under my breath. I walked out the school gates and down the street, past the chippie (A.N. Sorry if that's to English, I don't know much about America) and down the ally. I heard the faint sound of shouting and crying. It was coming from round the corner! I peaked round and saw a quick flash of red hair. RED HAIR! LISSA! I saw Chuck holding her up by her jacket shouting in her face. Chuck was captain of the football team and had all his goons with him, as usual. I strained my ears.

"YOU LYING W****! I SAW YOU!" spat Chuck in Lissa's face.

"I didn't, I swear!" she screamed.

Chuck punched her in the face. My fists clenched as she dropped to the floor.

"I'm sorry!" she squealed

They started to kick her. She screamed. Loud. I couldn't take it anymore, anger boiled inside me. I felt strong, invincible and furious.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" I yelled.

"What you gonna do about it?" laughed Chuck.

I lunged forward, yelling with anger. I leaned out and punched him in the face. I was angry really angry. He fell to the floor, yelling, and his eyes went black. I backed off. It was happening again. I'd killed him. His goons ran off. Lissa stared at me in shock.

"How could you!" she cried, "I loved him!"

I didn't know what to say, I didn't like this. I was a monster. I just wanted to go die where I wouldn't harm anyone.

Maybe it was because I was angry.

Maybe it was because stupid.

Or maybe it was because my dad was an eraser.
