Advice. He wanted advice from her on women. Well, that probably was the smartest move he made, coming to her rather than going to one of his male companions. She didn't even want to think about what they would have told him, seeing as how none of them seemed to land a single relationship. He'd be forever doomed with women if he ever took advice from any of them.
"Oh? A little love advice perhaps?" She teased. Yes, he had made the right choice in coming to her for advice, too bad he had picked a time when she was already into her third bottle of sake and didn't plan on slowing down anytime soon. Gesturing to the seat across from her she made sure he sat before continuing on. Eyeing him over the rim of her cup she shot him a playful smirk. The "oh so" innocent Ichigo, asking for advice on women; she hadn't seen this one coming from a mile away. Ichigo, the boy who flustered so easily at the female form, at any sexual tease, was now interested in getting to know the gender that caused him to turn as red as a strawberry.
Gently placing her cup on the table, Rangiku leaned lightly on her elbows, staring him down from across the table. Shifting her form she tapped her chin lightly with a single slender digit. He was easy to read, nervous as all hell, and she was sure he wasn't too comfortable with this situation.
"So you have your eye on someone?" A brow raised, she knew she wouldn't get an answer. More or less he returned her remark with a pointed glare. "I wonder who it might be…Seeing as how I know you won't tell me. I'll just give you general advice~." She raised her cup to her lips, downing what was left in it before pushing it off to the side. The warmth of the alcohol shot through her body quickly, the already present blush on her cheeks darkening as the sake ran its course.
"First of all, you got to ask yourself, what does she mean to you? And don't give me that whole 'I need to protect her'. That doesn't separate her from anyone else. What does she truly mean to you?" Her clouded blue hues seemed deadly serious even while intoxicated. "And if you can't get past your protectiveness, ask yourself 'why do you want to protect her?' An answer to this would be, 'you love her', 'you can't live without her', or…'she gives your life meaning.'" Unsteady hands refilled her cup as she raised it to her lips, allowing her first piece of advice to sink in.
"Secondly." Setting the sake pitcher down, gray blue hues shifted back to the teen in front of her. A wicked thought shot through her mind, I never want to have this conversation with my Taichou, and just as quickly as it had appeared it vanished. Shaking her head to rid any trace of the thought she turned her attention once more to Ichigo. "Does she make you happy? And I don't mean in the 'oh she's such a wonderful friend' kind of way." A devilish look appeared in her eyes as she leaned on the table, bringing the cup of sake to her lips. "I mean…does she make you happy?"
"Finally," Rangiku paused, the sake finally taking a firm hold on her mental state. While her other pieces of advice had been clear and actually worthwhile, this little tidbit was sure to be the most important. She knew how easily flustered he was, and she had watched him shift uncomfortably across from her the whole time she was giving him this advice. Telling him the flat out truth about how to connect with women was sure as hell going to turn him into a bumbling idiot or explode in rage at her audacity. "I think you just need to get laid Ichigo."
