"If you kill me, you'll only make things worse"
I raised the gun, aimed for his chest.
"I know." I said softly.
"You'll lose yourself."
"I know."
A pause.
Then, slowly, I squeezed back on the trigger and watched as he fell to the ground.
There weren't any other words spoken.
I just watched the blood pump from the hole in his chest.
I have no regrets.
