A.N- the idea for this came out of NOWHERE

Yellow mush squished against the platinum blonde's cheek when she turned away from the evil spoon that transported the icky goop. In return for her action, Namine earned a sound of frustration from the man who held the menacing utensil. A sigh escaped his lips.

"Dammit, Nami, eat your bananas!" Riku grumbled, "They can't be that bad." The box even said, "100% satisfaction".

Thankfully, the sixth month old girl didn't pick p on her father's obscenity nor could she understand what it meant. In response to his statement, she let out a noise similar to a grunt as if to say he was wrong about whatever it was he mentioned. Riku raised an eyebrow to this.

"What's that supposed to mean?" The latter questioned besides the fact that his daughter wasn't capable of a logical response. A tiny hand lifted and both sets of eyes followed. Namine struggled for a bit but she managed to stick out only her index finger. Riku shook his head. She developed the habit of pointing from her mommy who would point a lot, even at people who were looking right at her. Hopefully she wouldn't do it as much as her mother did.

Another sound came. To Riku, it appeared that her eyes and finger motioned to the plastic container next to him. Cobalt irises met with turquoise ones.

"It's just bananas, what's so gross about them?" Hand still in the air, Namine grunted once again.

"You know what? I'll prove you wrong." Determined to show his little one that the baby food was perfectly fine, Riku scooped up as much mushed fruit as he could with Namine's pink spoon and put it centimeters away from his lips. The confused and curious baby girl tilted her head to the left, much like a puppy, at her father. A smirk played upon his lips from the adorable gesture. He parted his petals and slowly inserted the mush substance in his mouth.

"See," Riku explained, "not bad. Not bad at a-" Namine cocked her head to the other side because of the expression on her dad's face. He instantly shot up and ran over to the kitchen sink. He lifted the silver handle, stuck his face under the faucet, and rinsed his mouth out thoroughly. He could've sworn that he heard giggles coming from behind him.

After turning of the water and drying his face, Riku walked back over to Namine who had a smile on her face as she stared at him. Returning the smile, Riku took the the yellow concoction that the makers dared to call bananas and disposed of it.

"All right, you win. Now let's get that bottle mommy left just in case."
