Dream
Emma woke up with a shudder.
Another dream.
She wasn't sure that those were dreams. They were too...real.
Emma covered her face with a hand, trying to stop the shivers.
It was always the same dream.
Henry and her were having breakfast and someone started knocking at their door.
When she went to open it, a woman –a beautiful woman- looked at her.
«Hi, Emma,» she always said. «I'm Regina Mills.»
It was always the same dream, but this time it went differently.
«Hi, Emma,»the woman had said. «I know you don't remember me. But I'm real. And I love you. I will always love you.»
And then, the woman kissed her.
Emma couldn't believe what she dreamed, but she couldn't even explain the reason of those dreams.
«Mom.»
Emma looked at the door, where her son was standing, with only his pajama trousers on.
«Ehi, kid,» she whispered. «What's the matter?»
Henry seemed confused.
«I heard you crying.»
Emma shuddered again.
She touched her eyes and cleaned up the tears. She couldn't understand the reason she felt so upset.
«You dreamed of her.»
Emma looked at Henry, her eyes wide open.
«What-»
«I know you have strange dreams,» her son continued, « I have 'em too.»
Emma raised a hand and Henry got closer to grab it. The girl pulled the kid towards her.
Henry sat on the bed and looked silently at his mother.
«Who's Regina, mom?» he asked sadly.
Emma sighed.
«I really don't know, kid.»
They both stay silent for a few minutes.
«I feel like…like I miss her,» Henry whispered.
Emma nodded.
«I know, Henry,» she said. «I know.»
