I know very little about baseball. However I thought that this HAD to be written, as we became the effin WOLD CHAMPIONS! While baseball isn't even a big sport in our little country. We like football more. And most of us aren't that shy about it.

America and Cuba sat next to each other during the meeting. Normally this caused an explosion of profanities and fighting, but this time they shared a common enemy. Both pairs of eyes were trained on America's Smartphone, the sounds of the game's live feed filling the room and annoying the rest of the countries.

They both tensed as the last batter came to stand. Olivera stood ready. The seconds felt like hours as the rest of the players got into position. And suddenly it all went so fast. The pitcher threw the ball, Olivera hit it, and it went left, straight into the hands of Jonathan Schoop. The last out, the game was over.

You could hear the cries of frustration from America and Cuba even if you weren't even in the general vicinity of the meeting. Money changed hands too, as many countries had placed bets on the match. The only person who seemed almost completely unfazed by all this was the nation who had the biggest right to cheer. Instead the Netherlands just stood up and walked out of the room with a smug little smirk on his face. There was no way they were going to accomplish anything further at the meeting, so he might as well go celebrate his victory with a little beer at the local bar.

You have no idea how many times I had to re watch the last bit of the game to get this right. Though when I did have the details about the match down, Mannheim steamroller was the only sound being chased through my ears^^
