Christmas for Fury

Disclaimer: I do not own these characters. (Unfortunately...)

This is my first story I've uploaded, so thanks for reading.

It was Christmas on the new and improved SHEILD helicarrier. There were no lights or decorations to show it. That, of course, was the way Director Fury liked it. Christmas was no reason to interrupt his schedule. If he was a Scrooge, so be it.

It was with this attitude that the Director walked on to the bridge. Well, I say he walked on to the bridge. It was really more like he barely stepped out of the elevator before being accosted by a Christmas carol, of all things! The music echoed around the room as the technicians scrambled to cut it off. The song went something like this: "Jolly old Saint Nicholas, Lean your ear this way. Don't you tell a single soul what I'm going to say…"

Exactly ten seconds passed before Nick Fury's voice could be heard by the ship's entire population.

"SSSSTTTTAAARRRKKK!"
