Lightning Storm (Paul one-shot)
I do not own Twilight in any way.
"Kota! Lakota!" Paul called. She didn't answer.
He searched the woods and found a clearing.
There sat his 13 year old daughter.
"Have you completely lost your mind?" he yelled.
She sat there calm.
"Lakota Lahote. Are you listening to me?" Paul asked.
She sat there mesmerized by the lightning dancing across the sky.
"What is so fascinating about lightning?" Paul asked.
"It's calming", she said in a dream-like voice.
"Oh Poca. What am I going to do with you?" Paul asked.
Lakota giggled. "I wonder what has the spirits all upset", Lakota said. Lakota wasn't a wolf daughter like Leah; she was more of a spiritual girl. She believed all the legends of her heritage. Lakota was almost like a witch. She was in tuned to nature.
Part of the reason why Paul called her Poca.
Her favorite movie was Pocahontas.
"C'mon Poca. You know that lightning means a storm is coming", Paul said, trying to coax his daughter inside.
Lakota got up and allowed her father to lead her back to the house.
