'Dear Roxas,
It's been a while, hasn't it? I should've written you sooner, I know. I wish we got to talk more. I can't tell you much, or else Saïx will get on my case. You know how he gets.
I miss you so much, Rox. At night I can't sleep, because all I can think of is your soft blonde hair, and your pretty blue eyes. God, your eyes. You probably don't think they're all that special, but I feel like I could drown in them. I could look into your eyes forever and lose myself in their depths.
Today was a rough day. Marluxia wasn't very pleased with Vexen, and had me have a little 'talk' with the blonde man. It didn't go too well, if you know what I mean. I don't really want to get into detail here, but lets just say you won't be seeing him again.
Strange things are happening here. I just hope I can go home soon, so we can eat ice cream together. Salty but sweet, right?
Please write back soon, Roxas. I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. I miss you. Let me know when you get that WINNER stick, okay? Please write back soon.
I love you.
Yours sincerely,
Axel.'
The paper was crumpled, I read it so many times. I sat down at our usual spot; the top of the tower. The sun was setting, and I was slowly licking my sea-salt ice cream. The letter was stuffed into my fist.
Red is the one that travels the farthest.
I finished my ice cream. It said: 'WINNER'.
