Shego remembered watching as the red head's eyes widened with so much hatred once it dawned on the girl that the man she thought she could love, was a syntho drone. It was at this point that Shego knew, she had pushed it too far. Despite that she had only been part of the plan, she still felt so much guilt over what she had done. Accepting that she had as much to blame for this as Drakken, she accepted the kick that sent her flying into the tower.

Time seemed to slow down at this moment but Shego kept her eyes shut not wanting to even catch a glimpse of the hatred that Kim would have towards her because the thief feared that this one simple emotion would break her heart.

Had the thief kept her senses on point Shego would have witnessed the sudden change in Kim's features, from hatred to realisation and to regret. Kim tried to catch onto Shego's foot before it was too late and Kim was too slow. Shego's body became smaller as it quickly crossed the distance, there was a loud thump as Shego's body hit the construction, but then it was as if someone had thrown a flash grenade as a massive white flash blinded Kim.

Trying to get her eyes to adjust as quickly as possible, Kim watched as the massive tower crumbled to the ground.

With Shego going with it.

2 Hours later

"What do you mean you can't find her?!" Kim shouted at the poor fire fighter who was victim to Kim's wrath.

"I'm sorry miss Possible, but there's no sign of her. Just blood spatters. We've cleared the area."

The red head tried to hold down the lump that had formed in her throat, she wanted to cry. Kim felt a hand on her shoulder, turning round she saw her best friend standing there.

"Ron we need to find her! You know how stubborn she is! She won't go to a hospital if she's injured or she-"

"KP! Shego will be fine-"Ron cut Kim off, sensing how stressed and wound up his best friend was becoming.

"She is not fine! No one could walk away from that uninjured! Not even Shego," Kim yelled, turning away from Ron she rubbed her hands against her forehead. The battle suit that had been developed by Wade made an interesting beep.

"User brain waves abnormal."

God I should have had more control, if I'd just remained calm this wouldn't of happened! Kim told herself in her head, continuing to replay the events in her head.

"Kim maybe you should go home, try and get some sleep." Ron stated in a sympathetic tone, before Kim could reply a new voice entered the area.

"Your friend is right Kim. Go home, let GJ handle the rest of this." It was Betty, head of the global justice division.

Kim's jaw dropped, she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "How can you both expect me just to be able to go home after all of this and sleep it off?! Shego could be dying because I practically killed her! She could be bleeding out on the side of a motorway waiting to become road kill!"

"Kim you've been through a traumatic event, you're not thinking straight. 48! 49!" Two men in global justice uniforms came over "can you please escort Miss Possible and Mr Stoppable off of the premises and to their homes please."

"Yes director."

"Please contact me if you find anything Director." Kim pleaded, Betty gave a nod and that was enough for Kim to go with the two officers willingly.

Just as she was about to get into the truck, she took a look at the crime scene. "Shego, please be ok" Kim mumbled under her breath. Praying there was some kind of god out there who would hear her wish.

Leaving the scene, the sound of Drakken's screeching and whining started to distance from Kim's hearing and the event continued to replay itself in Kim's mind. But it seemed so much clearer, how Shego had held back in her attacks, or rather. Didn't attack. How Kim had mercilessly kicked Shego practically into her death.

Kim started to wonder why she felt so strongly about this, in an attempt to try and set her mind right she went through the psychological questions she had learnt at school when it came to understanding the criminal mind.

Why was I angry? I was angry because I felt like Shego had betrayed me, she had stepped over the line I thought we had. She wouldn't mess with my loves ones, I wouldn't mention hers. But then again, she was my nemesis, was there really any line she wouldn't cross? When we fought there was never really any dirty moves, she wouldn't strike if my back was turned. But just before I kicked her… she hesitated… perhaps she realised the damage she done, but I still went on at her anyway.

"Kim what are you thinking about?" Ron asked, breaking Kim's concentration. Kim let out a heavy sigh.

"Nothing Ron, nothing."

In south east Canada

Shego continued to drink another bottle of vodka in her booth, away from everyone (well more like everyone kept away from her, probably because of that fact she was covered in blood.)

The guilt did not ease in the slightest no matter how many bottles of alcohol Shego downed, every time the thief tried to think of something other than the events that had just occurred the image of Kim's eyes would flash across her mind. The pain Shego had pretty much singlehandedly caused. She should have known that this was too far, that it had crossed the line. But her pride and stupid ego had blinded her. That was part of it, but Shego knew that there was another reason, that maybe if she hurt Kim emotionally her brain would realise that she should not have these feelings towards Kim.

"God I am so fucked up." Shego mumbled to herself.

"Excuse me miss? But we're closing in five minutes." The poor bartender said in a shaky voice. Shego nodded, slipping her hand into her pocket she pulled out a few notes and left them on the table.

Just her luck, it started to rain as Shego walked to where an old safe house of hers was, up in the mountains. She had managed to earn in it when she was a thief in the good old days, carefree and full of life. Not even Drakken knew about this place. Shego could think of a few reasons as to why the woman who had previously owned it had practically given it away (as well as stealing her recent ex-husbands bank details.)

It was cold.

But the three bedroom house wasn't bad, it had a kind of home feel to it. Shego was too drunk to do anything like shower or eat, so she just staggered into her room and managed to pass out on the bed.

Hours passed in minutes as Shego's tosses and turns became more violent.

"Hate you…" Kim's voice echoed in Shego's mind.

"You made me fall in love with a syntho drone you sick human being…"

"Kimmie I'm so sorry…" Shego tried to say

"Oh please, like I'd ever believe a scum like you…"

The look of hatred flashed as Shego went flying backwards…

Shego crawled away from the wreckage and managed to find herself at docks, the wave was strong and the sea made loud crashing sounds as they hit the wall…

Kimmie I'm sorry…

Shego felt as though she was drowning, with one last look she saw Kim standing above her smiling…

"Good riddance"

"No!" Shego screamed waking up panting in a cold sweat, her hands ignited with a green flame. Extinguishing the plasma, Shego let out a heavy sigh and fell back on the bed. "Fuck me," Shego mumbled, for a second she had hoped that last night's events had just been part of the bad dream.

Dragging herself out of bed Shego caught sight of herself in the mirror. She looked like shit covered in blood. Taking a long shower in order to get the blood off Shego headed back to the bar she had previously been in, an older bartender that the one she had seen last night gave her a nod. He was a fair bit older. Maybe even in his late 60's. Shego nodded back and approached the bar.

"Don't suppose you know if anyone's hiring round here do ya?" Shego asked, there was no way in hell she was going back to Middleton. Or the US. She'd probably be shot dead on orders of Kimberly Possible the moment her toes touched the ground.

"Around here the only work you can get here is tourism or lumber jacking," the bartender joked "say, how'd ya get 'em scratches?"

"Got into a fight with someone." Shego replied flatly "don't suppose I could get a beer?"

"At this time of the morning?" The bartender asked, Shego raised an eyebrow "right away miss."

As months went by Shego and the bartender continued to grow closer to the point where they could have a five minute conversation.

"Ya wanna know how I got these scars?" Shego slurred at the bartender while doing a bad joker impersonation.

"Kim Possible." The bartender sighed, after hearing this story for the thousandth time.

"Kim fucking Possible. She hates my guts ya know. Ya know why?"

"Because you tricked her into falling in love with a syntho drone."

"Because I tricked her into falling in love with a syntho drone because I'm an asshole." The bartender sighed, nodding his head as the story went along. Shego's head rested on the table as she tapped her glass, "ahem." That was all Shego needed to say as the bartender knew what Shego meant. It was when Shego turned violent with the green fists of hers he would start to worry.

"One day I'll go back. And I'll tell her how sorry I am. And how much I missed her. And how much I love her. And then we'll all be friends again."

"Of course ya will soldier." The bartender joked. "Of course ya will."
