Pinch Me
Gajevy week prompt 'AU.' Warning: wackiness.
Levy and Gajeel had been walking back to the guild after a successful mission, where they hadn't even destroyed that much, when the storm hit. It wasn't normal though, it seemed to be just a big mass of wind and electricity, and a lightning bolt would have hit her if Gajeel hadn't pulled her out of the way. She thanked him and the two started running towards the guildhall and eventually out of the storm.
"Be more careful Shorty, you could've gotten hurt." The big bad Iron Dragon Slayer only hoped that Mirajane or the Salamander or the drunk or any people were around when he told her that, they teased him enough about his affections for Levy.
"Sorry, I'll be more aware next time. Thanks again Gajeel." Her face was flushed and she looked up at him with big cute eyes that made him just want to swoop down and- He stopped his train of thought before it went to its usual romance fantasies, yeah he had them. He grumbled some things and turned his back to her only to want to rush outside back into the storm again.
Everyone in the guild was completely different! Cana was sober, clothed modestly, and scolding Gildarts and Laxus on how they were drinking too much. Gildarts had his head bowed and was sobbing about how much of a disgrace he was while Laxus ignored her and was staring at Mira who was fighting with Erza and a woman who looked startlingly like Rogue. Freed was glaring at Laxus which was a total shock to both wizards who'd just been out in the storm. Never would they have thought that Freed would turn against Laxus!
Evergreen and Elfman were getting cosy in the corner and another woman that looked like Gray was fighting with Juvia over Lyon, who was shirtless and had the Fairy Tail stamp over his chest while female Gray was sitting in his lap. Juvia was draped over his shoulders which seemed to make him increasingly uncomfortable seeing as he was pushing against Gray.
Female Rogue seemed to grow bored of fighting with the red and white haired monsters and brushed past them to sit right next to Sting before they started making out. Gajeel paled a little to see that they both had Fairy Tail marks on their arms and wondered why he had to be burdened with nearly all of the known Dragon Slayers. Check that, all of them. He saw Cobra over by the bar talking to Kinana, and every once in a while he'd yell for her to speak louder because he couldn't hear her.
Seeing Natsu and Lucy fighting one second and kissing the next, was just a little too much for him so he stumbled back outside into the storm, ignoring Levy calling his name worriedly.
His eyes grew droopy and he suddenly felt so tired. He collapsed and the last thing he saw was Levy above him.

Worried for her passed out crush, his pulse was slowing, she slammed her lips to his and started breathing air in to him. She crossed her fingers that a stable air source would bring some sense back to him, so she could get out of this embarrassing situation. He started stirring underneath her and she pulled back to gauge his expression. His piercing red eyes slid open, and she breathed out a sigh of relief after catching her breath.
"What happened? The storm…?"
"…Has stopped. You got caught up in it too much and it knocked you out. You mumbled some weird things like you were having a crazy dream." The small bookworm could swear that his ears were pink when he turned his head away awkwardly.
Thinking frantically to find a new thing to talk about right now, he didn't want to explain all the making out he'd seen, Gajeel smirked as something came to mind. "Shorty was it me, or were you kissing me just now?"
She could feel the steam coming off from her bright red face. "It's not like that! Your pulse was slowing down and I figured you could use a stable source of air. The storm knocked the wind out of you!" His smirk only grew bigger as he leaned into her and nuzzled her neck as gently as he could, and she swore that she hadn't believed she could be redder.
"Sure, you keep saying that." He stood up and started walking to the guild with a sputtering Levy left kneeling on the floor.
