Katie was currently laying on the Quidditch Pitch, soaking in the day's tranquility. Suddenly, a head lightly hit hers and laid down with her, head to head. She instantly knew who this was. By the smell, by the roughness, by the love of Quidditch. Oliver Wood. Her best friend. The Woods and the Bells had been friends for ages and ages. She was feeling quite worried. They had a match against Slytherin tomorrow. Not that their team wasn't great. Harry, their seeker, had won them nearly every game they played. Oliver blocked many of the opposing teams shots and would do the craziest things to make sure that the Quaffle did not go in the hoops.

Oliver knew why she was laying down on the field alone. When she was on the Pitch alone, she was worried about something. Something big. He had to admit, he was worried to. Slytherin was a tough team to beat. But Harry was good. His Beaters and Chasers were fantastic. A certain Chaser in particular.

It was Katie that decided to break the silence. "Ollie?" she asked, her voice small. "Yeah, Kates?" he responded with his rough Scottish accent. "I'm really worried about tomorrow's match against Sytherin. I mean, we're good. I know that. But..." her voice trailed off. "Yeah. I'm worried too. But Harry's great. And so is my favorite Chaser." He said, grinning and playfully punching her on the arm. "We also have Gred and Forge, knocking anyone out that comes our way. Harry, catching the snitch perfectly every time. Angelina and Alicia helping me out with all of the crazy plays you make up for us. And of course, our star Keeper, blocking all of the shots." Katie said, beaming.

"Come on. Let's get up." Katie said, getting up. "Fine. Help me up." He stuck out his hand. She grabbed ahold of his hand. He was too quick for her. He pulled her down beside him and began to tickle her until they were crying because they were laughing so hard. "Now let's really get up." Oliver said. He pulled her up after he got up himself. She stumbled a bit, but he caught her easily. She held onto his arms and he, her waist. They stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like forever, which was probably only a few seconds.

Very quickly, they were each pushed against each other and somehow, even though her was a good 5 inches taller than her, they kissed. It was perfect. Their long-awaited, perfect kiss. They stopped and looked around. They saw two tall teenagers with flaming red hair. The Twins. Gred and Forge. Of course. Oliver gave them a wink and nodded towards the castle. When the didn't move he said, "Get out! Captain's Orders." "We must obey our Captain's orders." Fred, or was it George, said. "Yes, you must." Katie said. They dashed off towards the castle.

"Finally." Oliver said, before kissing her again. She laughed against his lips.
