"Killian?!"
Emma yelled as she wandered aimlessly around the field of flowers searching for her love. She felt so helpless, by all means Emma didn't want to tether Hook to the darkness but she couldn't and wouldn't just let him die in front of her.
Then she saw him. A dark figure with red around his eyes stood before her. She wanted nothing more than to pull him into her arms and stay like that forever. But that could never happen, not anymore, thanks to her.
"Emma" His voice was low, her brain told her to be careful but her heart knew he wouldn't hurt her, no matter how much he wanted to.
"How could you do this to me?! Were you even listening to the countless amounts of time I told you about my fight against the darkness?! I can't do it again!" He shouted at her, the words kept pouring out of his mouth like a fountain of emotion.
Emma stepped closer, "I know! I'm sorry but Killian, I would not let you die and I don't regret keeping you alive! I know that if the roles were reversed you would have done the same for me."
"No, not if you asked me not to." With that last painful statement, he was gone. Just like that, just one flick of the wrist, and she was alone.
A single tear dripped from Emma's eye.
After hours of just sulking around the forest trying to find a purpose, she saw him, again. He was laying on the ground of soil, back to the ground and head to the moon. He was asleep, Emma couldn't even explain how much she missed sleeping next to him.
She slowly walked up to him and kneeled down to face him.
"I will get the darkness out of us. We will have our happy ending, I promise."
Emma layed down beside him resting her head on his chest. To her surprise, he then wrapped his arms securely around her and kissed her head.
"You were right Swan." he said using a sweet sounding whisper.
"About what?"
"I would have done the same thing to save you Love. I love you."
Emma's cheeks blushed and she smiled happily and nuzzled her nose into him, before drifting to sleep in his arms.
