Chapter 01

AU note: This was inspired off of the comic SNAFU but it will not have any connection with it. I will be keeping within the realm of known cartoons and will keep OCs to a minimum since this is a crossover. I may incorporate other cartoons.

"I am Dexter, Boy Genius," the redhead proclaimed as he adjusted his glasses and pulled his purple gloves back.

"Welcome back, Dexter," Computer replied as she turned on. The metallic hum of the equipment around him buzzed to life. The lights flickered before buzzing to life as well. Pausing a moment as the screen was filled with a list of inventions that needed his attention. His mind raced as the items listed scrolled down. His mind quickly seeing and recalling each item as well as its current status, he quickly went over all 5,000 different inventions in less than five minutes. "As of now Robo-Dexo 2000 is in need of its weekly repair. As well as . . ." the computer started.

"I know," Dexter sighed. "Please give me a second," he commented as he rubbed his temples. "Have Tinybots One through Fifteen take care of the inspections and alert me if anything needs my more detailed hands," Dexter replied with a wave of his hand. A few floating droids raced down the blue metallic aisles.

"Deter, is something wrong?" Computer asked as it noticed the oddities in his behavior. Dexter didn't reply as he opened a bottle of root beer. Dexter pointed at the main door as his sister leaped into the lab right on cue. He closed his eyes and after a long moment he heard a massive crash.

"Dee Dee, get out of my laboratory," Dexter tried to shout but he just didn't feel it. Dee Dee, who was sporting her regular ballerina outfit, suddenly stopped cold.

"Dexter, are you okay?" Dee Dee asked with concern as she walked over to him, her shoes making their signature squish sound. She leaned over the chair, resting her arms on his head and ruffling his red hair.

"Dee Dee, with the world's superheroes around, it's been boring. I mean, all my inventions are becoming a chore to keep up to date on. Not mention the lack of room to build new works. There hasn't been an alien invasion in over three months, and even the great Major Glory has been reduced to directing traffic. I am bored, even a fight with Mandark wouldn't feel anything less than scripted." He frowned. Dee Dee frowned at this, but shrugged as she walked out of the lab, seeing as Dexter was in a trough she couldn't fix.

Dexter frowned as he looked at the clock deciding it would be a good time to go to sleep and not dwell on his boredom. As he headed to sleep the boy genius didn't realize that he was being watched by a powerful being a being simply known as Him

"Interesting, a genius with no time on his hands," replied a serpent like voice. "While my magic may not be enough, perhaps a more human approach could be more effective." The figure smiled as he pinched his lobster like claw. The figure simply known as HIM smirked as he monitored the redhead. Him from shifted from his normal Santa like outfit, giving way to a green military suit, his lobster like claws giving way to white gloved hands, his red skin turned into a pink Caucasian, his twisted beard shifted into a simple stubble. "Time to visit our boy genius and see if he can't help me with my puff problem," he smiled.

Dexter walked into his school he may have gone up a grade riding himself of needing to deal with Dee Dee who was now in middle school.

"Let it go Ed," Demanded a loud mouth who was about Dexter's height he glanced over to see the trio of Ed's, who were the schools trouble making squad. He sat down in class as two red headed twins sat down as well near the back of the class as he sat down. The room filled up as a bald kid and a rather tubby looking one with a pilot cap on his head.

Dexter didn't bother much with them, the school they use to go to closed down thanks to some weirdness going on so now they went to Dexter's school and they were not the only ones the twin red heads had moved in recently and had a younger brother. The school had gotten much bigger as of late with a lot of students from all over the place. There was even a rumor of a girl named Jade who was using the water hose to climb up the side of the wall. Dexter chuckled at the idea.

"Hello students, today I shall start of this class by giving you your justly deserved failing grade an 'f' for you and for you and for you turner a super F!" he shouted as Dexter perked up.

"You have got to be kidding me," Dexter rolled his eyes as a bald kid sat down next to him. This teacher was a nut; they would let anyone teach these days as he seemed to glare at a kid with a pink hat.

"Excuse me could Dexter Dee please come to the principal's office," said a voice over the intercom.

Dexter groaned as he got up Mr. Crocker seemed to glare at him as he was one of the few that could ace his tests. He put his hands in his lab coat as he glanced at his reflection in the locker. He had short buzzed red hair that seemed to curve around the front. He adjusted his glasses as he walked into the office to see a general in full uniform waiting and he seemed to smile as Dexter walked in.

The general smiled as he adjusted his gloves. "Hello Dexter, or would Mr. Dee be more appreciated?"

"Dexter is fine," Dexter replied as he shook the man's hand the man's eyes seemed to flash red for a second, as Dexter looked away blinking. "One second," he said he took of his glasses to rub at his eyes.

"Yes Dexter, I am General Grant and we have quiet the file on you and I would like your help in dealing with a problem," He replied casually.

"Sorry, not interested," Dexter replied as he put his glasses back on. "There are plenty of people you could ask such as Major Glory or someone like that." Dexter dismissed.

"Now then I wouldn't have come if we're not for the fact that Major glory has already been soundly beaten by just a third of this problem," The General replied, Dexter froze as he looked at him in confusion.

"You must be joking." Dexter said as the General didn't reply, he reached into his coat and handed Dexter a pad.

"We shall be in contact with you," The General, replied as Dexter looked at the object he blinked under his glasses. He turned to see the General was missing.

Dexter didn't worry too much about classes as he mused over the pad. He wanted to watch it but the thing had a warning message on it to wait until he was alone.

"Dexter what is the mathematical equation for Pie," Crocker asked Dexter not even bothering to look up.

"3.14159265358979," Dexter stopped as he glanced up. "Should I keep going?" He asked casually,

"The capital of Tibet?" he asked

"Tibet is a province but the capital is Lhasa," Dexter answered rolling his eyes. The bent back teacher grumbled as he went on to pester some girl with blonde hair pigtails that stuck out from the side and a pink bow and dress.

School ended swiftly enough as Dexter played with the pad as a group of the popular crowd walked past him.

"Like I can't believe we had to change schools," said a blonde girl in what seemed like a cheerleader like outfit next to a girl with black hair.

"Like I can't believe it," Mocked another blonde haired girl as she sat her best friend a girl with dread the two giggled earning a glare. Dexter simply observed as he glanced back at the pad and while it took little time he felt like something interesting was going too happened and he couldn't wait.

"Star Wars," he replied and the book self slide away to let him enter his massive blue Lab. "Computer scan this for any bugs, recording devices, and tracking," he ordered as long pipe like arm shift out of the wall to scan it.

"All clear," the robot scanner replied as Dexter walked along his black boots making the only sound outside of the beeps of the lab as it worked without him he sat down and eyed the pad he waited a moment and stared at the blank screen.

He clicked it on, as the screen light up showing a picture from outer space with Major Glory being created by a massive frozen meteor with a young girl in a pink dress and red bow. Dexter sighed at the color as the screen changed to a girl with short black hair and a green dress punching the teeth out of villains and collecting them. Dexter winced at that, and then next was a blue Girl with a blonde hair and pigtails. She seemed to be lording over a very scared dog who was curled up at her feet.

"These three girls, are the powerpuff girls and have been active for a long time in the city of Townsville, despite all attempts to control them and many cities banning them they have harmed and destroyed the city on many an occasion. We are asking you to help reign in this treat to the United States and the world. Do to your past work in saving the world we feel that you are last hope if you do this you will have near unlimited access to the resources in hope that you can succeed were others have failed. The number will put you in contact with General Grant if you wish to accept this mission." The voice was robotic as a number flashed.

"Computer take down this number," Dexter ordered as the number showed up on her screen. Dexter slide into his chair almost letting the pad fall onto the floor as he looked up at the number as it flashed in green text on a black background.

Dexter frowned as he chewed on his purple glove mussing it over this seemed like a good idea helping the world was something he always did. "Something is off Computer to a search of the internet and look for powerpuff girls," he replied,

"Dexter I am afraid that I have only found a collection of toys and merchandise as well as oddly a short lived security system," she replied, "But nothing on the girls themselves, outside that they would be about your age at this point thanks to the history of the retail." Computer replied casually.

"Well are you interested?" said General Grant as Dexter spun around in chair amazed to see the man in his sanctum.

"I am going to replace that security robot, because this is just embarrassing." Dexter thought to himself as his eye twitched.

"I decided to come in person to see if you will take the job." He replied Dexter glanced at his computer as he turned back to open his mouth butt something kept his tongue.

"This is something that needs to be done for the safety of the world; the Powerpuff girls will be neutralized.

"Good, now then there is something you should know off; using the pad will give you information on their skills and abilities, as well as their creator." The Disguised Him explained as the screen light up reflecting in the boy geniuses glasses.

"Threats to Threatening of Femininity, that's a weakness?" Dexter replied, "Antidote X?" Dexter glanced at the general.

"It was cure for what gave them power chemical X if used they turn into regular little girls, the trouble is that the only one who can make it is, there father and he would never cooperate,"

"Has it ever been used?" Dexter asked,

"Once, A man by," Him started before he was cut off.

"Professor Utonium, I take it there was a threat he created to his own creation and he needed something to neutralize it and then destroyed to prevent its use, so there is a simple way to solve this get some Chemical X."

"If only it were so simple, I am afraid that the only known source is in the basement lab of the creator, I would advice trying other means before the direct approach as The PowerPuff girls are not to be underestimated. They have been best but never for long."

"I can't work from nothing I need some kind of sample, Do you have a resources, something I can at least scan to get an idea of where I am looking?"

"Yes one of our more proactive men did manage to create a counter group to the girls that while stronger are easily bested, scanning them should be able to point you in the right direction. And while I will give you advice I would never dictate your actions," The general smiled, "I'll see to it you have the best starting point to work from Boy Geniuses." The word felt creepy as Dexter shook his head,

"Sure, whatever just get out of my laboratory," Dexter replied as He sat down in his char to look over the pad, not realizing the man was already gone.
