RWBY: Bloodied By Moonlight

Hello readers. I am proud to bring you RWBY: Bloodied By Moonlight. Before we begin, I would like to thank Mikisanji for helping me with this story and providing me with the first OC submission. I will accept two more as main characters, and others MAY appear in some chapter as minor characters. No promises on that though. The team will be GOLD. So please submit OC's that have a first name beginning with D or O to keep with the team name. Once again, any characters that I don't use as main characters MAY be used as minor characters, but I might not use them.

Without further adieu.

Beep

Beep

Beep

A recurring beep woke me from my sleep. Opening my eyes, I found myself in an empty green room, save myself, a computer console, and the suspension chamber I was in. At least, the room appeared to be green through the substance I was suspended in. As I waited, a door at the far end of the room opened, allowing two men to enter the room. Both men wore similar outfits consisting of lab coats, brown slacks, black shoes, and strange masks. The only difference between the two was that the one on the right, who appeared to be slighty taller, had brown hair and ears on top of his head that resembled a dog's. The man on the left had blonde hair and fangs like a snake. Seeing them enter, I tried to get out of the chamber, but failed since my movements were restricted by tubes that were imbedded in my skin. The snake man advanced toward the console and began tapping the keys in rapid succession, while the dog-eared man approached the chamber.

"You shouldn't struggle. You might end up hurting yourself." said the dog-eared man. Turning his head toward the snake-man, he nodded to him. The snake-man quickly tapped the keys, and I soon felt something entering my right arm. My eyelids began to feel heavy, but I forced myself to keep them open. As the snake-man continued to type on the keyboard, I felt one of the tubes in my left arm draw out my blood, causing the console to beep. The snake-man soon smiled and said one sentence that caused a smile to occupy the dog-eared man's face. "Project Alpha Omega is a success." This was the last thing I heard before I fell into unconsiousness.

Third Person POV

Middle of the Jade Woods

Inside a dilapidated house in the middle of the woods, an eighteen year old man shot up from his hammock with sweat running down his skin. The man quickly brought his left hand up to the right side of his neck where the design of a wolf head with claw marks behind it was burned into his skin under a grey scarf. Calming himself down, the man rose to his full height of six foot five inches. He gathered his belongings in a paratrooper bag he "procured" from a store that kicked him out when he went into the city. Exitting the house he turned left, and moved toward a small pond near the abode. Pulling his black nightcap off his head and unwinding the scarf from around his neck and the lower half of his face, he dipped his hands into the water and brought them to his face to wash his face. Lowering his hands, he stared into the reflection on the water. Staring back at him was a man with pale skin, ice blue eyes, and midnight black hair that reached the middle of his neck with his bangs slightly covering his left eyes, dressed in a grey tee-shirt and black sweatpants. But that wasn't all he saw. He saw ears that resembled a wolf's ears extending out of his hair covered in fur that matched his hair, the brand of the White Fang on the right side of his neck, and a wolf tail covered in midnight-black fur extending from his lower back.

Quickly cleaning himself in the lake, he dried off and dressed himself in his casual (and battle) outfit, or rather his only outfit besides his sleepwear. The man's casual outfit consisted of a grey tee-shirt with a design of two crossed scimitars surrounded by a ring of fire and lightning in black, black cargo pants with a steel chain hanging from his right pocket, black steel-toed combat boots, a black trench coat with the hood up to hide his ears and tail, and a grey scarf that was wrapped around his neck and the lower half of his face to hide his brand. Hanging diagonally from the man's back was a double-sided naginata. The naginata was a 28-inch long, steel bo staff with 24-inch long, jagged, titanium scimitar blades on both ends with small hinges half way down the dull side of the blade and triggers located five inches under each blade. The blade that was closer to the man's head had a red-tinted edge, while the blade that hung near the man's left calf had a yellow-tinted edge.

Reaching into the left pocket of his trench coat, the man pulled out a paper that stated that he was supposed to be at the Vale shuttleport at ten AM to catch the shuttle that would take all first year students to Beacon Academy. With a glance at the sky, he guessed it was early in the morning meaning he had enough time to get there, so he turned himself toward the location of Vale, and took off through the forest.

Unknown POV

Unknown Location

Grimm surround me on every side. An Ursa to my left. Two Boarbatusks behind me. Three Beowolves to my right. A Death Stalker infront of me. Finally a three small Nevermore above me. I quickly threw a grenade filled with blue dust at the Death Stalker, which froze it on contact. I quickly drew my sword in my right arm and pointed my sub-machine gun gauntlet on my left arm at the Nevermores, unleashing a storm of lead that killed them. Turning toward the other Grimm, I found that the Boarbatusks were getting close, but the Beowolves were directly in front of them, so I threw another of my grenades in front of the Boarbatusks, and use my semblence to have the resulting ice form a ramp that the Boarbatusks were launched off of. The Boarbatusks ended up crashing into the Beowolves, killing two of the wolves, and getting the last to focus on killing the Boarbatusks. With most of my enemies preoccupied, I rushed at the Ursa, and swung my sword in a quick succession of slashes, cutting off the Ursa's head and arms. Looking behind me, the Beowolf managed to kill one Boarbatusk, but was preoccupied with the other. The Death Stalker on the other hand was beginning to get out of the ice, so I rushed at it. When I reached it, I raised my gauntlet to shoot its eyes. I managed to do that, but the Death Stalker's pincer swung at me. I barely managed to dodge by jumping back, so I threw another grenade at its face, freezing it, which allowed me to jump on its back and sever its stinger from its tail in the confusion. The stinger fell, piercing the Death Stalker's back and dispensing its poison into its bloodstream, killing it.

I tried to turn around to prepare myself to fight the Beowolf, but instead met the Beowolf's hand knocking me into a tree. My sword was knocked out of my grasp and clattered to the ground ten feet away. A branch from the tree fell and pinned my left arm to the ground. As the Beowolf approached I reach for a grenade, but didn't get one since I used all three. I tried to use the ice that was left on the ground to kill the Beowolf, but my head was in a bit of a haze after the impact, making it hard for me to concentrate on the ice. As the Beowolf raised its claws, I closed my eyes and waited for the pain. However, instead of feeling pain, I heard the pained cry of a Beowolf. Opening my eyes, I saw a Beowolf protecting me. It had stabbed the other Beowolf in the stomach in its claws, and now it cut a large X into the Beowolf's chest before decapitating it with its claws. The Beowolf that saved me turned its head towards me, and instead of glowing red eyes that looked like they were trying to burn you with a look, this Beowolf's eyes were a light blue, almost like ice, as if wanted to calm down the hate aimed at it. It opened its muzzle and...beeped?

Third Person POV

Haile Residence, Vale

Inside the Haile residence in northern Vale, a seventeen year old woman rose from her bed. "Same dream again." Turning her head toward the clock she saw that the time was seven o'clock, she rose to her full height of five foot four inches, and headed to the bathroom to wash up. When she finished she quickly got dressed in her everyday attire, consisting of a silver moon-print tank top, blue jeans, and silver tennis shoes. Looking into the mirror, the woman inspected her silver hair that fell to the middle of her back, mainly focusing on the streak of light blue hair that was a few inches wide, before she glanced at her green eyes. Liking her hair as it was, she looked at the silver fox ears that stuck out of her hair and the silver fox tail that extended from her lower back. Stepping back she admired the light tan she had gained during the summer along with the cresent moon tattoo on her right shoulder. "Luna. Hurry up, you need to be at the shuttleport soon!" a voice called from outside Luna's room. Looking towards the clock, she found that it was seven thirty-two. "The shuttle doesn't run until ten, Dad." she called to her father. "Didn't you agree to met Yang at the shuttleport at nine o'clock?" her dad asked from outside the door. "I still have an hour and twenty-eight minutes till I have to be there," Luna repied as she gathered her bags. "It's eight thirty-two," Luna's father said, "Did you forget to set your clock forward one hour yesterday?" The reply he got was the door to Luna's room swinging open and a silver blur rushing to the kitchen and out the front door yelling, "Thanks Dad, Bye!"

Luna's POV

Twenty-seven minute and fifty two seconds later

Vale Shuttleport

I managed to get to the shuttleport with seconds to spare, but when I got there, I had to ask, "Where's Yang?" I looked around, but I couldn't find her, so I headed toward the entrance to wait for her there. When I reached the entrance, I saw Yang with her sister Ruby. "Hey Yang, Rubes," I said to get their attention. They both turned to me and said hello, or at least tried to before two guys from Signal interrupted by challenging Yang to a quick boxing match while waiting for the shuttle. Instead of answering right away she pointed at me, "If you beat my friend here, you can fight me."

"Don't just throw me under the bus," I said. "I want to see how much you've improved," Yang replied. "Fine." As I slipped into my boxing stance, the first boy rushed at me with a quick jab that I dodged. I retaliated with a right hook which sent him sprawling to the ground while his friend went for an uppercut on my left side. Ducking to my right, I swung my right arm, hitting the guy with an uppercut of my own which sent him flying. Just to add insult to injury, I grabbed his pants leg before he flew out of my reach, and swung him around to hit his friend who was just getting up, knocking them both out.

"Wow, you've gotten a lot better, Luna," Yang said. "Thanks, Ya..." I tried to reply. "But not as good as me." That comment made me falter. "Shall we test that theory, Yang?" I asked as I slid back into my boxing stance. "Lets." Before I could move Yang was in front of me with her fist pulled back, so I raised my arms to defend myself. Unfortunately, while I managed to block the hit, the force sent me flying back into the wall of the shuttleport. As Yang and Rubes approached to pick me up, Yang said one thing that would grate on my nerves for a while. "Guess I was right." Why do I have a feeling that she is going to hold this over my head for a while.

"Lets just get in the shuttle," I looked up at a clock in the shuttleport, "It will be leaving in ten minutes." Seeing the time was nine fifty, they agreed. "See you, Rubes," I said. "I attending Beacon," replied Ruby, "So I'm coming with you." I was surprised to hear that Ruby was attending Beacon two years early. As we were walking to the shuttle, I bumped into someone, and looked up to apologize, or tried to until Yang shouted, "Hey, watch where you're going!" The person who I bumped into was wearing a black, hooded trench coat and black combat boots, had a paratrooper bag hanging from his shoulded, and a double-sided naginata hanging from his back. When he turned around, I noticed that he was also wearing a grey tee-shirt that had a design of two crossed scimitars surrounded by a ring of fire and lightning in black, black cargo pants with a chain hanging from the right pocket, and a grey scarf wrapped around his neck and the lower half of his face. From what I could see of his face he had pale skin and black hair that was slightly covering his ice-blue eyes. "I don't know why, but his eyes seemed familiar," I thought. I was snapped out of my observation, by Yang. "Well are you going to apologize, or am I gonna have to beat an apology out of you?" Yang asked with her eyes changing from lilac to crimson. The man resumed his walk to the shuttle, and as Yang was about to chase him down to kill him, we heard him say one word, which stopped her. "Sorry," the man said on his way to the shuttle.
