Anything but ordinary, please.

Rayne Pond was an ordinary girl. Key word-WAS and now she's SO much more. She doesn't want to be ordinary again. Lady Luck, however, will only be on her side for a little while longer, and Rayne, despite having all her blessings, will be struck with misfortune soon enough. They say that if The Doctor's making house calls, then God help you. Well guess what? He made a house call to Rayne, so, she's bound to face tragedy sooner or later. It's time to face the music Rayne...and it's not very pleasant.

Prologue-House Call

DISCLAIMER-I am not Steven Moffat, so I do not own 'Doctor who'. But I've got Fanfiction so I'll try to heal the wound from it not being mine.

Rayne's P.O.V

'Ouch! Stupid!' I thought as my toe hit my small desk where my royal blue laptop sat. As I hopped around, my hip knocked the lamp table where a heavy, round pocket watch that I'd had all my life sat. The force knocked said watch onto the floor with a heavy 'thud!' I whirled around to see the watch had landed on the button that opens the lid. The watch emitted a blinding golden glow that, strangely, I could look at by only squinting. It was a massive shock when the light came straight towards me. I was twice as shocked when I just...absorbed it...I guess...

Suddenly, I had all this knowledge in my head. It was astounding. I knew that I was 'The Super-Soaker', a Time Lady from the planet Gallifrey in the galaxy of...um... Kasterborous! That's it! I was 899 years old and on my 7th regeneration. That watch wasn't just a mere pocket watch, but a fob watch! How could I have been so very, very STUPID?! Think I'll stick with 'Rayne', because, really, what WAS I THINKING? 'Oh well, live and let live right? Rayne is a very fine-'my thoughts were cut off by the sound of a TARDIS-that's 'Time And Relative Dimensions In Space-landing...with its brakes on...? (Vworp, vwrop). I rushed outside, not wanting to wake my 'mother' and 'father'. I knew that Gallifrey was gone, but one Time Lord remained and I wanted to see who it was. What renegade Time Lord had survived the horrific Time War? Did I know him? I was sure it was a man. As I reached the garden, the TARDIS opened her doors. The first words I said were not 'who are you'. "Why is she disguised as a 1950-1960's police public call box? Wait; let me guess...a broken Chameleon Circuit?" I asked, raising a ginger eyebrow. "Yep, you're the Time Lady...AND you're ginger? 9 tries and guess what? Still not ginger." He had ice blue eyes, black military style hair, an army green shirt, black combat boots, black jeans, a big nose, big ears, a black leather jacket and a northern accent. I, on the other hand, had ginger hair in a bob around my face, a lilac tank top, ripped light blue jeans, plum purple suspenders, purple-black converse, a black cardigan, a button nose, small ears, hazelnut brown eyes, a plum purple fedora with a lilac and white band and a Scottish accent. "Yeah, I am...The Super-Soaker. Call me Rayne...who are you?" I knew I should've been wary, but, I didn't care...still don't, to be honest..."The Doctor. And really, with your title, what were you thinking?" he asked, "Easy answer, I wasn't" I replied, smirking. "So...because I'm the last Time Lord and you're the last Time Lady...would you consider travelling with me?" To this very day, I sometimes think that I should've said no...But I didn't...and had the time of my lives...

(A.N.-This is my first time on Fanfiction but not my first time writing, I hope my prologue is enjoyable and if 1 person reviews, even a bad one, i will continue. XoXo-Rayne Pond-Smith)
