Hey everyone! Well, this is my first fanfic so I hope you all like it!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians , and I also don't own Romeo and Juliet.

"I want to be alone!"Annabeth Chase yelled, slamming the door to her cabin. But her tears muffled her voice and it came out sounding something like "I wunna ve ablone!"

"Annabeth, please, let me come in."The voice of her "boyfriend" came from behind the door.

She answered that by throwing a pillow as hard as she could at the cabin door.

"Annabeth, I need to talk to you!"

All silence expect for the faint sound of tears.

"Don't make me get the Stoll brothers to unhinge the door."

Annabeth was trying to hold back her tears, but she was choking them back. Soon after, Percy had finally given up and had walked away, she didn't understand how sometimes when you say you want to be alone and mean it the person pestering you rarely leaves you to your peace. She walked over to the library and started sorting through the books, anything to get herself together.

Suddenly, THUMP!

She fell to the floor as a book hit her head, she recognized the cover and pushed it away. Annabeth didn't need that book, so she went over to go sulk in the corner instead.

THUMP!

Another copy of the book fell on her; seriously? in the corner? This had Aphrodite written all over it. She pushed the second copy away, she didn't need it nor did she want it. She was done being influenced by others, always coming back like a cat being beaten by a broomstick every time it comes to the porch for food.

THUMP!

THUMP!

THUMP!

Three books fell this time, luckily this time, not on Annabeth. She stood up from her corner and her jaw dropped to the floor. Every Single book on the bookshelf was Shakespeare's classic, none other than Romeo and Juliet. What had Aphrodite done to the library? Were they ever even getting all the other books back, she balled her hands into fists, but instead of punching the bookshelf, she grabbed a book and started reading.

"Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight!/ For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night." (William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 1.5) She read, nearly crying.

She wondered if Percy felt that way about her, she wondered what he was thinking right now. Did he mean to break her heart? No, did he mean to shatter heart to pieces so tiny it seemed hopeless that they could ever form a whole again?

"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name. Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love. And I'll no longer be a Capulet." (William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2)

She had felt that way earlier, when they were talking about their parents. Poseidon (Percy's father) and Athena (Annabeth's mom) despised eachother, due to the whole Medusa incident. It seemed impossible for them to be together when there are two immortals pressuring your every move with. . .the "enemy".

"It is the east, and Juliet is the sun" (William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2)

She loved him, she really did. No, fix that, she had loved him. He thought he was going to tell her that, she thought he felt the same way. But no, he just had to- Annabeth couldn't even think about it, she never wanted to again, she hoped one day the named Percy Jackson would fade from her memory, she would never have to think about him or worry about him again.

"Is there no pity sitting in the clouds
That sees into the bottom of my grief?"

(William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 3.5)

To be Continued. . .
