Once there was a boy who used logic to understand the mysterious ways of life. He found that logic could answer the questions he asked, while feelings could not. There was also a girl. But she relied on feelings and love in order to answer life's many questions. Despite the two entirely different personalities, the pair got along famously. They laughed at the same jokes, talked and battled their wit, and both were incredibly smart (in two entirely different manners of course). All of their friends looked at the two and predicted that they would of course fall in love. But the two thought it impossible. For the boy thought love to be useless. And the girl knew she could never love someone who did not acknowledge the power of love.

Deeply confused on how the boy answered life's problems without the aid of love, the girl turned to him and asked, "Why do you use logic to answer life's problems?" The boy turned to her and said, "Why do you not rely on logic?" Unable to answer his question the girl remained silent. The boy continued to speak,"Let us not talk about our difference. Speaking about them will only end in a fight." So, they ignored their differences, and they continued to laugh at the same jokes, talk and battle their wit, and be incredibly smart together.

Soon the girl realized that she was in love with the boy. Even though she knew he didn't believe that love could do anything, she decided to share her feelings with him. But when she did, he said to her,"Why would you ruin our friendship? How can I be friends with someone who clouds their judgement with foolish fantasies of love?" The girl began to cry and she rushed away from him. As the door slammed, the boy glowered after her. Their friends tried to get the two to reconcile, but they both refused to see the other adamantly. The girl saying,"I can never be near someone with a heart as cold as his is." The boy saying,"I refuse to associate with someone who allows feelings to make them foolish and easily hurt."

The boy began to become crabby and cantankerous. He allowed logic to take over his life. He laughed at those who loved. He argued and battled using his sharp wit to attack people who spoke of feelings to answer the questions of life. He was still incredibly smart but he was alone and friendless. As he aged he grew to regret that day. The girl grew to be bitter and angry. She allowed the feelings of hate and anger to take over her life. She laughed at those who had knowledge but didn't know what to do with it because they had no feelings to guide them. She argued with the purely logical. She too was incredibly smart, but because of her hate and bitterness was left friendless. And as she grew to be an old woman, she too began to regret not going back to make amends.

So, you see that without logic, love is useless. But without love, logic can make you miss important opportunities.
