"Edmund, do you think you will ever have to leave Narnia?" I asked, putting a ripe red apple into my weaved wooden basket.
He looked at me. "I haven't really thought about it. I mean, sure we all love it here, but what would happen to family back home?" he asked. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Well, no time passes when you are in could stay here 50 years and age, but when you go back home, you will be right back where you left off." I say ,taking a bite of one of the apples I had picked." I don't know." he said.
"Maggie, I never want to leave you, your my best friend and you feel like family." he said grinning. I smiled at him. "Think of me as your servant." I smirked. "Why? You don't have to bring me my breakfast in the morning or make sure my horse is ready to ride with his saddle and harness on. "he said.
"I'll call you my princess." he said, holding out his arm. "Shall we?" he asked. I grinned wildly. "We shall." I said in my proper voice as we raced back to the castle. I would never forget the fun we had when we were kids.
I would never forget Edmund. I know he will come back again. I need him and he needs me.
