A/n: This lovely story is for my lovely sisters birthday, sorry for embarrassing you Moonbeam! :)
Mai screamed looking around her at the blood splattered on the sidewalk.
'No.' She sobbed. She knelt on the ground beside Naru's lifeless body, pulling his head into her lap. 'Naru? Naru?
She brushed his sticky hair out of his face, lovingly. 'Naru I didn't even get to tell you how I felt.'
'Come on Mai.' Bou-san said coming up behind her, he placed his hand on her shoulder comfortingly. 'We have to go, and let the police do their jobs.'
Mai stood up burying her face into Bou-san's chest. Seeking comfort in her friends warm embrace.
Ayako came over helping Bou-san to lead Mai away.
-Two hours later-
The Coroner stood beside the slab. Looking sadly at the young man that lay upon it. It was always sad to see such young people coming to such untimely deaths.
The Coroner moved around the badly lit room, collecting his tools, so he could start the autopsy. Sighing to himself, he pulled his gloves onto his old wrinkled hands. Soon rather then later he was going to end up on one of those slabs, lifeless and cold.
He walked up next to the young man, drawing the white sheet back until the upper half of his body showed. He lifted his surgical knife up preparing to cut...
Suddenly the boys lifeless form became animated he sat up, staring at the poor horrified coroner. The once lifeless young man opened his blood covered mouth...
'Happy birthday dear Moonbeam, Happy birthday dear Moonbeam! Happy birthday to yoooooou.' The boy sang out, before falling once again onto the slab.
The coroner stared shocked, clutching his heart.
The police shook their heads staring at the scene around them, the same boy that they had scraped up off the side walk that morning was lying on a slab. And the coroner they had left him with was lying dead, the upper half of his body was strewn across the young boy.
'Well this is... Interesting.'
A/N: LOL, here ya go Moonbeam! Happy birthday! Love you sis!
