Sherlock had been studying his brother for about 10 minutes now and still had no idea what he was doing. He wasn't sleeping, his eyes where open. But he wasn't reading either because Sherlock couldn't hear him and his mouth wasn't moving. The only other thing he could be doing was looking at the pictures, but this didn't seem like a very Mycroft thing to do. Sherlock stared a little longer before finally breaking. "Mycroft?" He asked, Mycroft grunted to show he was listening "What you doin?" "Reading" Sherlock stared at Mycroft, there was nothing to say he was lying but Sherlock always seemed to miss something. "No your not" Sherlock declared "Your looking at the pictures, your lips aren't moving" Sherlock looked smugly at his older brother he continued this until Mycroft showed him the book, no pictures. "I'm reading in my head" Mycroft told him turning back to the book. Could this be true? Sherlock contemplated it and finally decided. "Teach me!" Sherlock demanded. Mycroft sighed irritably, maybe if he did he Sherlock would go and read 'like a grown up' and leave him alone. "Come her then" Sherlock cautiously came forward and Mycroft put the book in front of the small boy "Now do you see that sentence?" Sherlock nodded "I want you to read it" Sherlock opened his mouth. "No" Mycroft corrected him quickly, he ruffled Sherlock's hair, "In here" He watched as his brothers eyes crossed the page. "Now what did it say?" "Harry spent most of the day dreading the evening" Sherlock told him "Now what?" Mycroft laughed. "That's it" Sherlock looked slightly deflated but then cheered up a bit at a thought "Can I read the rest of this book?" He asked innocently. Mycroft sighed. "Its in a series" He told his brother, then added reluctantly "The first of which is just above my bed" He watched as his little brother raced upstairs and warned him to be careful.

The reading of this book series would cause Sherlock to obsess over being a wizard for about a month. This meant playing games which (to Mycroft's dismay) genrally involved Mycroft being poked with a stick while having nonsense yelled at him.
