Hey everyone! So I read a rumor that Hello World by Lady Antebellum was going to be in an upcoming episode of NCIS, so I looked up the song. The first time I watched it, I immediately thought of Tiva. This wasn't my original idea, so I'm writing another fic that should be posted tonight as well. I listened to the lyrics and they struck me as Tony. I cut out some of the lyrics, because I didn't think they fit. So enjoy, and be sure to look up this song! I really like it and I'm excited to see how they fit it into an episode. I'm praying to the NCIS gods that we get a Tiva moment!

Love, Alec

PS. Check out my other Tiva and Delena fics!

Hello World

Traffic crawls, cell phone calls
Talk video screams at me

Tony stared out the windshield of his Mustang seeing but not really. How had his life gone so wrong? He and Ziva, all they did was fight. Their kids didn't know what to do anymore. Amira and Avi were only three and four. He can't stand the idle sound of the radio anymore. McGee's face shows up on his phone. Tony presses ignore, for the third time in twenty minutes. His friends are worried. His kids are terrified. His life doesn't exist anymore.

Through my tinted window I see
A little girl, rust red minivan
She's got chocolate on her face
Got little hands, and she waves at me
Yeah, she smiles at me

The little girl catches his eye. She's beautiful. Brunette and smiling. She looks like a young Ziva. She looks like Amira. His bright little girl, who he hasn't seen smile in ages. When she waves at him, his heart catches and he swallows. He lifts his hand and waves back slowly. He wants to see his little girl smile like that girl just did.

Hello world
How've you been?
Good to see you, my old friend
Sometimes I feel cold as steel
Broken like I'm never gonna heal
I see a light, a little hope
In a little girl
Hello world

The stop light turns green and the honking of other cars breaks him from his daydream. He wants to make things right. He can't. As Tony drives the familiar way home, his mind wanders to the little girl with the chocolate ice cream. The pang in his heart gives him the urge to fix it. The little girl gives him hope.

Sometimes I forget what living's for
And I hear my life through my front door
And I'll be there
Oh I'm home again
I see my wife, little boy, little girl
Hello world
Hello world

Tony pulls into the driveway and sees his kids playing in the front yard. Ziva's on the porch reading a book. His kids look up when the door slams shut.

"Daddy Daddy Daddy!" They yell, excited to see their father.

He bends down gives them each a hug, then walks up the front steps to his wife. She is sitting there trying not to look at him. She's still mad from the fight this morning. He pulls her out of her chair, and hauls her into his arms.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for this morning. I'm sorry for all the fights we've had. I'm sorry for making you miserable. I'm sorry." Tony whispers in her ear.

Ziva pulls back tears threatening to fall, "I'm sorry too. For everything."

His heart feels like its singing. Tony leans down and gently kisses her. "I love you." He says. He hasn't said it enough lately.

All the empty disappears
I remember why I'm here
Just surrender and believe
I fall down on my knees
Oh hello world
Hello world
Hello world

With his wife by his side, Tony walks down to the yard to see his kids. He gets down on his knees and they both come rushing at him. This is his world. His family is his world.

'Hello world.' He thinks.
