Her Tekkan was gone. Someone had cracked the shell that she'd worked so hard in creating around him and he managed to grow a backbone. Thanks to meddling her Tekkan no longer needed her. He pushed aside the years of teaching to embrace all that turmoil, all that distraction called emotion. Rubbish, completely worthless, all it did was hold you back, kept you from what was really important.

She'd gone her entire adult life without giving them a second thought. To see him fall prey to the very thing she worked so hard to have him avoid? Well it was rather pathetic really, Tekkan was a Tokkyou, he was supposed to be stronger then this. No amount of excuses would work for him now; they'd just fall on deaf ears.

In her eyes Tekkan was broken, he'd been used and abused and there was no quick-fix band aid. He'd been left behind not behind not because she thought those slow common officers were right, but because he needed to learn. It wouldn't take long for him to see she was right, she was quite confident in that, and when it happened she'd be right there by his side. To rub a little salt in his wounds and show him the errors of straying from ones teachings.
