Disclaimer: I do not own Inazuma Eleven. The wonderful people at Level 5 do. =3
A/N: This is my first Inazuma fiction. It's a one shot of Fudou/Kidou. If you haven't watched past episodes 68, don't read this fiction.
Kidou's POV
It was the middle of Football Frontier International competition and they were up for their next match in a few days. Kidou Yuuto stood on the sidelines analyzing his teammates and making sure to give pointers to who ever had some trouble. He was a great game planner after all. He did notice one person in particular was having issues. That boy was Fudou Akio.
Kidou noticed Fudou was having issues with practicing with the others. But not becauae no one trusted him, but because he could'nt keep track of his surroundings very well. Kidou frowned. It was true that Fudou couldn't be trusted, and there was even a bit of a fight between him with Sakuma and himself because he was seen with Kageyama. He and Sakuma had thought Fudou was working for Kageyama again, but all was settled later that day. Although the whole ordeal did have consenquences having been unable to get to the Argentina game and so Inazuma Japan had its first lost. Hopefully that'd been the last game lose too.
Getting his mind on track Kidou wondered if there was a way to help Fudou's perception.
Then an idea snapped into his head. It was such an obvious solution. He smiled.
"Fudou, come here." He shouted.
Fudou gave him a scrawl and came over. "Yeah?" He said uninterested.
"I need you to meet me in my room tonight, I have a surprise for you." The goggle head game genius smirked.
Fudou stared at him for a few moments and just walked away.
Kidou chuckled to himself. This has to work!
Practice had ended and it was soon time for dinner. Kidou returned to his room and waited patiently for Fudou. Soon enough there was a knock. Kidou grabbed a box off of his desk and went to the door and opened it. There stood Fudou not looking amused as usual.
"Yeah?" He said grumpily.
Kidou held up the box. "I have something for you. I think it'll help your perception on the field." He smirked.
Kidou opened the box and Fudou gave him an annoyed look. "How stupid you think I am? You really think I'm going to wear those stupid things?" Fudou picked up an identical pair of goggles that Kidou wore, except they were black.
Kidou nodded. "I think they'll help."
Fudou took the goggles and walked away.
The next day at soccer practice Kidou was very amused at what he saw. Fudou Akio was wearing the pair of goggles he had given him. Fudou did have to suffer the wrath of laughter from the other teammates though. Not to say though those goggles did help Fudou, they looked good too.
