I Now Know

Author's note: I don't really like Seddie much, but I just wanted to try writing this couple out. Enjoy.

Sam, the rebellious teen, was lounging around on Carly's couch. Freddie, who was watching Sam lounging around, was fixing the Web cam that Sam 'accidentally' dropped on the floor. She must have dropped the Web cam on the floor pretty hard because Freddie couldn't seem to fix it.

"This is why nobody likes you." Freddie mumbled; Sam heard his mumble though.

"What did you say?" Sam sat up on the couch now, glaring a Freddie.

Freddie didn't repeat himself, pretending that he didn't hear her. An aggravated Sam stood up, walked over to Freddie and sat next to him. Freddie took a moment to stop fixing the Web cam and looked at her. Sam scooted closer to Freddie making him squirm the other way.

She was quiet for a moment. Freddie seemed suspicious now.

"What did you say!?" She screamed right in his ear. He cringed, she laughed.

He angrily stood up, "This is why nobody likes you!" He screamed right back at her.

She smirked, "Really? Nobody? Everyone likes me!"

Freddie smirked, "Not me."

"Well, you're a nobody, so you don't count."

Freddie frowned, "I-"

Sam interrupted him, "The only person that likes you is your mother. Not even Carly likes you. She just hangs out with you because she feels bad." She teased Freddie. She enjoys seeing him frown and being hurt.

But she didn't stop there; she kept going.

"And why you say nobody likes me? The truth is, nobody really likes you."

Freddie crossed his arms, "Really?"

Sam walked back the couch and lounged around again. "Yep."

"Well, if nobody likes me, then why are you hanging out with me?" He managed to outsmart Sam. Inwardly, he was proud of himself as she struggled to think of a wise-ass answer. As the seconds kept going without her answering, his smirk was turning into a smile.

Suddenly, Sam smiled; Freddie automatically frowned. "I could ask you the same thing. Why are you hanging out with me if you don't like me?"

"Carl-" Sam once again interrupted Freddie.

"Don't even say her name. We both know that she's gone for the night." Sam explained.

"Then why are we in her house?" Freddie asked still trying to fix the Web cam.

"Don't try to change the subject. Why are you hanging out with me then?" Sam sternly said.

Freddie sighed, "I don't know, Sam." He gave up; he needed to fix the cam. He didn't want any more distractions.

So, they sat in silence for about a half an hour…until Sam started to talk again. "Don't forget that nobody likes you. No girl would want to date you either."

Freddie started to get angry again. "And how would you know that? Carly wants to date me!"

Sam started to chuckle, "Yeah, right! She doesn't like you. Don't you get the picture?"

Freddie was about to yell at Sam, but then he started to chuckle himself. Sam sat up again, looking at him in curiosity. "Why are you laughing?"

Freddie stopped laughing for a moment. "I get it now! I finally get it now!"

Sam frowned, "Get what?"

Freddie smiled, deviously. "You jealous."

Sam raised an eyebrow. "And why would I be jealous?"

He put the unfixed Web cam on the table. He would deal with that later. "You jealous because I like Carly, not you. You want me to like you. That's why you tease me thinking that I would like you, or your just trying to hide your true feelings for me."

"Wow, your so smart, Freddie." Sam said sarcastically.

"Well, you don't need to tell me the truth yet, but when your ready I'll be right here, Sam."

Sam smirked, "Yeah right!"

"I just want you to know that I kind of like you too." Freddie said calmly. He was now trying to fix the Web cam again, paying no attention to Sam when she teases him. Because he now knows the reason why.
