Sebastian Moran had never been happier to be home. That day had been particularly exhausting and he wanted nothing more than to put his feet up and have a cup of tea.
Thankfully, Jo had the same idea.
"Ruff day?" She asked, snuggling closer to him on the couch.
"Yes." He replied wrapping an arm around her.
"But you did what I asked you to?" She raised her head and looked at him with her bright blue eyes.
"Of course."
"Good." She rested her head back on his shoulder.
Though she looked perfectly innocent, Joanna Moriarty was the deadliest person Sebastian knew and that was saying something.
They watched a few minutes of Downton Abbey before Joanna's phone buzzed. She got off the couch and started pacing, eyes on her mobile.
"Who is it?" He asked, pausing the TV.
"Our taxi driver. He's outside 221B. I'm telling him to go in."
"You're sure he can handle it without an ear piece?"
"He'll be fine." She replied, not taking her eyes off her phone as she typed. "Now it's up to him." Joanna said after sending the text. She settled back next to him on the couch.
Sebastian just stared at her for a moment. When she wanted to Jo could look perfectly innocent. But he'd seen her put a bullet in a man's head without a second thought (not that she did it very often. She was the mastermind, he was the sniper, but it had been necessary on a few occasions).
"Are you alright, Seb?" She gave him an odd look.
"I'm fine. Just thinking about how beautiful you are."
Joanna smiled and blushed a little. Moran leaned down to kiss her, but she pushed him back playfully. "No, Sebastian, I know what you're thinking and I want to know if Sybil's going to be alright."
But Sebastian wasn't listening. And she finally gave in.
When Sebastian woke up the next morning, Joanna was gone.
There was a note on his nightstand that said
Sorry I had to leave early love. Duty calls.

Next to that was a hit list for him. With a sigh, Moran got up and hurried to change. It was going to be another long day.
"Did you get everyone on the list?" She asked that night at dinner.
"Of course." Every night there was a question like that. He was getting a little tired of it. It didn't use to be like this. They use to commit a crime together, go home, have dinner and watch a movie. But that all changed when Joanna became a consulting criminal. Now, the only time he saw her was in the evening, and usually she was dead tired and went straight to bed.
"Jo," He started after a few minutes of silence. "I miss the way it use to be…Look, I know we've got some big stuff coming up with Sherlock, but can we just take the weekend off or something…I miss spending time with my girlfriend."
She just stared at him for a moment. Great, now she thinks I'm some lovesick fool He thought.
"I love that, Tiger." Joanna shocked Sebastian by breaking into a huge smile. "I'm ashamed I didn't' think of it myself."
My friend came up with Joanna Moriarty and she was kind enough to let me borrow her for this (everyone should go check out her fic 'Slipping', which is about Joanna and Seb).
Sorry this chapter was short, but there isn't a lot of Moriarty in Study in Pink or Blind Banker. I shall try to update soon! Now review!
