A/N: This just sort of popped into my head one day and I thought, why not? Well anyways, hope you enjoy! Please R&R!
Edit: This story is a rewrite of the original. I was looking through this old thing and I was appalled by my horrible grammar/spelling errors. I still don't really know how I'm going to finish this story since, well, I just didn't like how the manga ended. I'll figure something out.

Chapter 1: Dimensional Traveler
-Kokuboro Castle-
"This… is not my style at all," Sen thought as he leapt forward infront of Yoshimori.
"I am working outside of the plan… taking this dangerous guy face on," he continued to mentally berate himself for his sudden "brilliant" moment of bravery. He held the strongest of the broken blades that he found in a defensive stance. Yoshimori stood there shocked at his friend's bold move. Kaguro's blade came swinging downward with the force and speed of a guillotine. Kaguro's sword cut through the broken sword with ease. At that moment, Yoshimori lost control of his power, the power of Kokuboro flowed through him strengthening his technique. Yoshimori blanked out as everything went white. Space seemed to warp around them as the three of them were teleported away.

"Hmm...? So this is what he chose to do with my power. He has destroyed this place... poo... this child interests me though. It's a good thing that I placed some of my power within him, I can use that... He-he-he-hee..." the Princess of Kokuboro thought as she concentrated on the remaining power within the kekkaishi.
Yoshimori woke up in a grassy area near the edge of a forest. He saw that Sen was still knocked out sleeping soundly.
"Finally awake, are you," Kaguro's voice sounded from within the shadows of the trees. Yoshimori whipped around and spotted the sword wielding Ayakashi leaning against a tree.
"Kaguro!" the young kekkaishi yelled ready to use his technique if he tried something against Sen. Sen woke up to Yoshimori's loud voice and quickly scrambled to his feet getting into a defensive stance.
"Calm down, you two. We appear to have traveled to a different dimension by whatever technique that that you used. It would be best if we stick together," Kaguro said easily with his usual grin.
"We're in an unknown area and I can't sense any of the others from the castle. Survival in numbers," the Ayakashi said. Yoshimori and Sen looked at each other and back to the smirking demon. Kaguro smiled widely and brought out a human skin that he had salvaged from the Kokuboro and slipped into it. Both teens shuddered at the creepiness of it. It looked almost human, but the eyes were creepy (not that Sen was one to comment).
"How do we know that we can trust you?" Yoshimori demanded/asked. Kaguro burst out laughing and gave a sinister smirk that seemed to scream 'did you seriously just ask me that?' and stepped towards the human.
"You don't. But from where I'm standing, you'd be easy pickings from whatever creatures that live here." Kaguro said as he pointed towards a sign nailed to a tree that read:
Training Grounds 44: Forest of Death
Yoshimori gulped as he sweat-dropped wondering who named a training ground 'Forest of Death'. Sen also seemed a bit twitchy as his eyes darted around the area watching for any sign of movement.
"Grr... fine." Yoshimori grit out as he released the hand sign for his kekkai-jutsu.
"We should head for the village over there and see if we can get some supplies," Kaguro suggested pointing in the direction of a tall gate not far off from where they landed. The trio headed for the gate and were stopped as several senbon were hurled just infront of them. A woman with dark hair pulled up into a short ponytail wearing a fitted mesh body suit from her neck down to her thighs. Over this she appeared to be wearing a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale grey shin guards.
"Hey! What do you worms think your doing here?! You've got a lot of nerve trying to sneak into our village through the Forest!" the woman said as she stood hanging upside-down on a large tree near the fence. Yoshimori looked towards Sen as if to ask if he had any ideas. Sen just stared wide-eyed at the woman. She had managed to get that close to them and he hadn't been able to sense her!
"Wait a sec! You've got it wrong lady! We aren't here to cause any trouble!" Yoshimori called out as he held his hands up in front of him showing that he was peaceable.
"*Snort* Like I haven't heard that one before!" the trench coat wearing female said with a role of her eyes. Her gaze surveyed each of the guys and narrowed as she looked at Kaguro. His strange grin and business suit get-up was unnerving. She suddenly seemed to vanish with a flicker of movement and appeared behind Kaguro with a kunai poised to strike. Kaguro's grin seemed to widen as he whipped around with a blade in hand blocking the surprised attacker. They both jumped backwards to create some distance between them. Kaguro retracted his blade as he did so.
"You're a fast little rat, ain't ya? Who are you?" the woman asked as she pulled out a stick of dango while twirling the kunai in the other hand leisurely.
"Kaguro. And you?" the Ayakashi asked in return.
"Mitarashi Anko, jounin of Konohagakure. Those your brats over there?" Anko asked pointing towards the two teens with the now clean skewer.
"Eh, sorta," Kaguro shrugged indifferently.
"'Sorta,' huh. Well, they sure don't look like much. Why would anyone send such a green team to infiltrate another village? Seems like a dumbass move." Anko said. She sent out a small pulse of chakra earlier to alert a team of Anbu. All she had to do was stall for time. She noticed that the kid with black hair had moved in front of the blond haired one. He had his hand in a single seal.
"Interesting... that brat can do a jutsu with a single hand-seal? Perhaps there is more to you than I thought," Anko thought. She tossed the empty dango stick a few times before hurling it towards the kid. She was curious as to what sort of skills he had.
Yoshimori blinked as he saw the stick come flying his way. He narrowed his eyes as he quickly mentally prepared the area that he would start the kekkai and launched it. A small blue flash of light as he reflected the stick away from him. He could feel Sen behind him gathering energy.
"Guys! We've got company closing in fast!" Sen said as his head snapped up revealing his cat-like eyes and markings on his face. Anko narrowed her eyes in suspicion.
"That blonde kid... is he a Jinchuriki?" Anko asked as she returned her full attention towards Kaguro. It was obvious that this guy was the leader. She only needed to stall for a bit more time. Kaguro tilted his head slightly in confusion while still keeping his usual Cheshire cat grin on his face. He shrugged as he continued to give her a look that said 'maybe, maybe not.' She growled slightly in frustration before straightening up and giving a cruel smirk.
"Fine! Don't want to say anything? We'll get the information out of you eventually. Our T&I (Torture & Interrogation) Department will have three new applicants," Anko said in a sadistic tone. The two teens shuddered at her tone and words. Yoshimori ran out into the center of the area.
"Wait! We don't want to fight any of you! Please, we're just a bit lost and confused!" Yoshimori pleaded. Kaguro looked on with an amused grin while Sen just sat where he was - the markings had receded as he stared at Yoshimori gaping. Anko chuckled but looked almost apologetic as she gave a hidden hand signal to the Anbu captain behind her. The anbu swiftly knocked the two teens out while Kaguro dodged their attempts and folded his arms so that his palms were hidden.
"Look, just come quietly, alright? You don't want anything to happen to these kids after all," Anko said as she held a kunai to Yoshimori's throat. It was a bluff, but he didn't know that. Kaguro's eyes narrowed slightly before slowly nodding his head. He walked over and picked up the two unconscious boys by the backs of their shirts.
"Well, lead the way Miss Anko," he said in a slightly mocking tone.
"And don't even think of trying to strike my back. It won't work." he added with a chuckle. She stood there for a moment before grinning again.
"Wouldn't dream of it!" she replied in a similar tone. Anko and the group of anbu leaped into the trees to cover ground faster and Kaguro followed after adjusting his grip on the kids.
Karasumori Site:
"Argh! I can't believe that fool, Yoshimori! He ran off to the Kokuboro and now he's gone missing!" Yoshimori's grandfather yelled angrily. He hated it when his grandson acted so rashly without thinking. Tokine stood there, worried about her friend. Sure, Yoshimori could be an idiot sometimes, but she still cared about him. Yoshimori's older brother was worried also since the Kokuboro had collapsed in on itself and if Yoshimori and Sen were still there, then they were beyond anybody's reach.
"Yoshimori… you better come back safe and sound," Tokine thought.
The Night Troops and the kekkaishi began the long and hard task of clean up.
Konoha- T&I Department:
"They're all yours, Ibiki," Rooster (mask) said as he nodded towards the man in a suit and two funnily dressed kids. Morino Ibiki raised an eyebrow at the three that had just been deposited at the department.
"Huh, well they are rather oddly dressed, aren't they?" he noted. His eyes quickly analyzing the unbound man carrying two unconscious children.
"Feh! The only reason that we are even still here is because we need to figure out where we are and how or if we can get back. I've still got a score to settle with this little brat!" Kaguro stated in a bored tone shaking Yoshimori slightly.
"What the hell am I dealing with today...?" Ibiki mentally sighed.
"Inoichi! You take care of this one first. Then the blond kid." Ibiki ordered. Inoichi grabbed the two boys and took them off to be interrogated (mind-searched). He sent the two young ones with Inoichi because the man could usually just look into the captives minds without any physical or severe psychological torture. The kids appeared to be the more harmless of the group.
"As for you... Anko and Sparrow will deal with you." Ibiki said.

Yoshimori's mindscape:
The first thing Yoshimori noticed as he "woke up" was that he was standing on a seemingly endless area of water. At first he was shocked and started flailing his arms before he realized that he wasn't sinking.
"Where is this place?" he wondered out loud.
*Giggle*
"What that?!" Yoshimori gasped as he glanced around. Squinting his eyes, he saw a tiny island. Or at least, it looked tiny since it appeared to be far away. The young Kekkaishi ran towards the island and stared in shock at what he found.
"Hello again, Yoshimori-kun~" the Princess said with a foxy smirk on her face.
