Julie, Natalie, Tristan, and I trembled with excitement as we approached the theatre. Tristan was taking Natalie on a date to go see her favorite artist, Lindsey Stirling, for their anniversary and decided to take us along. I loved her music, I play the Violin as well. I love everything about it.
As we stood in line, Julie turned to me and asked, "Jessie, do you think we'll meet Lindsey?" "Not sure", I answered with a smile. I sure hope so, I thought. Natalie hugged Tristan tightly and said, "Thank you for buying these tickets for us", she thanked Tristan with a big smile. He smiled and said, "You deserve it." Whe smiled wide and kissed him. "Awww, so romantic!" Julie exclaimed with googly eyes. Natalie giggled, and I flashed a smile.
"Jessie, are you ever going to get a girlfriend?" Julie turned to me and asked. "Of course, I'm just waiting for the right girl, that's all." I answered with a blush. "Sure, whatever." Julie said sarcastically.
Finally, we got to the front of the line and gave them our tickets. Julie started jumping up and down in excitement wnd skipped to her seat. I sat next to her and Tristan and Natalie sat together.
I looked at Tristan and mouthed,Now? He nodded with a grin. "Natalie, I have a proposal for you." He said kneeling down on one knee. Natalie held her hand to her mouth as he pulled out a ring.
Julie squirmed in her seat in excitement. "Will you marry me?" He asked her taking her hand. She smiled and nodded hugging him. He kissed her and put the ring on her finger. Me, Julie, and Tristan prepared for the proposal before the concert. Natalie and Tristan have been together for 5 years and he thought it was time to propose.
Julie jumped up from her seat and hugged Natalie, smiling. "I'm so happy for you!" She said. I smiled and said, "I am too." Natalie smiled and sat down. Tristan sat down and let Natalie lay on his shoulder. Natalie grabbed his hand and smiled at him. He smiled back, and said, "I love you." "I love you too", Natalie said smiling.
All of a sudden, the lights dimmed. "The concert is starting!" I said. The curtains closed and a spotlight shone on Lindsey. I blushed as she danced across the stage playing my favorite song, Shadows. I've had a huge crush on her since I first heard of her, but, tonight she seemed even prettier in person.
