A/N: This story is set right after The War Child, basically written because I was re-watching it, and I thought it sucked that we never saw the reunion between Annie, Mitchell, Nina, George and baby Eve, so I created one! Ah, the joys of being a writer.

Disclaimer: As I've said about Doctor Who, Harry Potter and everything else, I don't own Being Human. All rights go to their respective owners.

Eve faded to smoke in front of Annie's eyes and she couldn't help but let out a sob. She turned towards the door, the light not so bright that she had to shield her eyes. She inhaled deeply, grinned, and stepped forward into the light.

Annie felt a heat hit her in the face, as if she'd just stepped into the sun after a day in the shade. She hugged baby Eve closer to her body as the light intensified and Annie had to close her eyes. Baby Eve gurgled happily as Annie's eyes adjusted to see two figures amongst the background of pure white nothingness. Annie's heart jumped in excitement as slowly they came into focus. They were holding hands, and she guessed that they were Nina and George. Nina let out an excited scream and sprinted towards her, pulling poor George along behind her.

Annie gave baby Eve to her, and it warmed her heart to see Nina clinging to her baby so tightly, kissing her forehead. George put his arm around his family. Annie felt like she was intruding in a strangely private moment until George reached out and pulled her into the embrace. She couldn't help a few tears escape as she felt like a piece of her heart that had been missing had finally been found, like she was home.

"You saved our daughter Annie. You did such a wonderful job," Nina sobbed, kissing her cheek.

"Where's Mitchell?" Annie asked, her heart crashing into her ribs. George and Nina just looked at each other and smiled knowingly. Annie frowned as another figure appeared in the distance. Her heart stopped, stuttered and picked up at double pace as she ran towards him, her legs burning. As she got closer she recognised the wavy black hair and leather jacket of John Mitchell. She yelled out and he begun to run too. Annie met him halfway, jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist. It felt so wonderful, being with Mitchell again. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, hugging her tightly.

"Annie," He whispered, planting a soft kiss on her neck. She pulled back, still literally wrapped around him.

"I missed you," Annie replied, another tear falling down her cheek.

"You were so brave, so brave," He stroked her cheek, as his brown eyes glazed over with liquid, before he leant forward and latched his lips to hers, before pulling back abruptly.

"Wow, I can feel that. More than I could before, back in Wales."

"Good, because I don't think I'd be able to do dirty talk without giggling." She said, making him laugh before she cut it short by kissing him again. Nina and George caught up with them, baby Eve still in Nina's arms. It didn't look like the woman would be letting go of her daughter any time soon, but that was fine because Annie wasn't sure if she would ever let Mitchell go, and now she didn't have to. Because he was hers for all eternity.

A/N: P.S. I'm leaving this as a one-shot for now, but I might come back to it in the future. Maybe. Possibly.
