Prologue
Do you understand how difficult it is to wake up in the morning knowing that you're about to sentence someone to a rotten jail cell for the rest of his or her life? Do you?! Well, if you don't, let me tell you it isn't that easy, pal. Allow me give you a take on my life. The name's Allyson Marie Dawson, but I prefer Ally. I'm 23 and am a world-known judge, but my passion has always been music.
I remember when I was a kid, and I used to play mini concerts in front of my friends and family. Oh my god, was I happy in those times, but sadly everything good in the world has to come to an end. When I started to take music as a serious career, my dad tried to convince me that I had one in a billion chance of making it in the music biz. Unfortunately, my dad succeeded in convincing me to become what I am now, a judge. Then, my mom and dad had a major fight that lead them to a divorce, and right now she's working in Africa on publishing a book… about apes.
My life crumbled down right in front of my little, young eyes. I would cry myself to sleep at those times. I'd even thought about committing suicide, but thankfully I had this feeling in my gut that said to keep moving on. And now I'm here, a successful judge. I'd come back on top of my life, gaining control of it again. My life is like a cycle, I swear. It goes up, down, then up again, and down again. I know you're probably confused because I only mentioned one downfall. Well, it all started when I had to judge (1) two dangerous, skillful criminals.
AN: Hey everybody, hope you liked my story! I know it sucks. Cue le sigh.
1: I think it's called judge. You know, to sentence someone as guilty or not.
Disclaimer: I don't know anything that you recognize. Just the plot and the OC.
