A/N: Okay, this is my first TOS entry. Don't kill me. Please.

"Captain, Commander, may I speak with the two of you for a moment?" a young yeoman by the name of Kiara Wright said this to both Kirk and Spock before they left the debriefing room. The planet they had just left off of had been one of the few places where the people hadn't tried to "test" them, or find if they were worthy enough, or just try to kill them for no reason whatsoever.
The only reason they had gone down on the planet in the first place was because the crystals that powered the ship and seemed to always break or run out at the most inappropriate times had again broke.
The yeoman – who actually didn't somehow wind up dead – was an assistant to Scotty and helped retrieve the crystals.
"Of course, Ms. Wright; it's all right with me. What about you, Mr. Spock?" Kirk looked over to Spock with that certain gleam in his eyes as he smiled. The kind of thing was reserved for Spock and Spock only. And usually it was accompanied by a bout of flirting.
"I find no reason to deny the yeoman's request," he stood next to Kirk as he said this, hands clasped behind his back.
"Of course not, Mr. Spock," Kirk replied. "Now yeoman, what seems to be the problem?"
"Well, you see captain, there are these two people I know – and respect – that obviously are attracted to each other. Everyone can see it, but the two always seem to skirt around it," Kiara looked into Kirk and Spock's eyes as she said this, making it obvious she was addressing both.
"How are you positive, Ms. Wright, that it is so obvious? It is possible you misinterpreted the signs of attraction," Spock rebutted the statement with an almost curious raise of an eyebrow. It was hard to tell at first, but when you're trained to notice minute details, it gets easier.
"Well you see, they flirt whenever they are near each other; no matter how subtle or camouflaged it is. They are always in close contact; touching seems to not be an issue with the other person as it is with other people. And, truth be told, they practically have – you know," here the yeoman paused, trying to come up with a word suited for the situation while making vague hand gestures, "eye sex."
With this, Kirk's eye brows shot up, a little surprised, before shooting back down and a lazy, charmed sort of smile adorned his face. He propped his elbow on the chair nearest him and leaned on it; enjoying himself.
"Well, Kiara, I'd have to say there's no doubt about it, the two are in love. So, who exactly are the two lovebirds?"
"Why do you wish to know, sir?" the yeoman asked, a little fear showing in her eyes.
"Well, so I can tell the two of them that they need to just get over themselves and date already, of course," Although from the look in his eye, it was apparent that he just wanted to scar the yeoman a little.
"Oh good," the yeoman countered, a smile and mischievous look adorning her face, "I hope you and Commander Spock have a nice relationship, Captain."
With that, the yeoman left the room, still smiling, leaving behind Spock and Kirk who looked at each other a little surprised. Kirk opened his mouth to speak but not before a yell from the same yeoman who just left was heard from the hall.
"Ha ha, Scotty, you owe me 100 credits!"

A/N: What happens after this moment is – as they say – history. Or common knowledge, really.
So, I hope I get to dodge any spears of hate from this horrible thing and I hope you enjoyed it.
