She looked to the moon. For some reason it always surprised her and seems to catch her of guard. It was big and mysterious. It seemed closer than usual like it could just fall on her. It was so big...Pamela shook her head. It felt as if she was mesmerized. It was just sleep dawning on her. She took her phone out of her small black rectangular purse, tapped it on and looked at the time. It read 12:47 am. "Ugh!" Pamela groaned out loud.
She had just left the club around 10:30 pm. Why was it taking so long to get home? She knew she should have never gotten a ride to the club from Shaunee."Damn girl will pull off with any man and leave you to fend for yourself!" She thought out loud. If only she would have carpooled back home with one of her other friends instead of staying behind to talk to Brock, she wouldn't be troubled with walking home. She couldn't help herself he was so compelling. She reminisce on the way he would get nervous and rub the back of his head and looked at her with a sincere and flushed face. "I should have took his offer" she thought to herself. He had offered to take her home but, with Pamela's stubbornness and self independent pride, she turned him down. "Sometimes I just need to loosen up" Pamela said regretting her decision.
She shivered and wrapped her black trench coat tighter around herself. It did nothing to warm her bare legs. She picked the wrong night to wear her skimpy tight black cocktail dress. She shivered more. Her eye lids slowly closing. She begin to wobble loosing her balance with each step. Sleep was falling faster on her than she thought.
She began to fight it off by slapping herself in the face and jumping up and down. A couple walked passed her looking at her oddly. "I hope I wont be this tried on my date with Brock tomorrow" she thought to herself. She was known to show people up because she's sleeping the day away. She missed out on a lot of sweet guys that way. "But Brock wont be one of them" she said under her cold breath.
It was important to be the best she can be; after all he could be the one. Plus her moms been urging her for grand kids. "A women you age should be settled down with twins already! I want grand kids!" her mother would always nag. The thing is Pamela's only 24. She giggled at the thought. But it would be nice...
