Jason tried to enjoy the great view from the aqueduct, the sunset in multiple shades ranging from deep purples and salmon pinks. Illuminating the City of New Rome, highlighting the white marble buildings perfectly. Maybe Apollo was welcoming the Greeks to Rome, or just showing off. As said Jason tried to enjoy the view, especially with Piper at his side hands intertwined. But something bothered him almost like when his memories were gone something was missing, he knew they were there though. He remembered everything, New Rome, the fifth cohort, his friends, praetor, the Titan War, Reyna… he winced, a guilty feeling and a pinch memory loss followed every time he thought of her. He remembered everything about her though, birthday, favorite color, her sister Hylla, that they were best friends, everything!
"You okay?", Piper asked touching his arm, a caring tone in her voice.
Jason nodded, not wanting to worry her.
He looked up into the heavens wondering if maybe there was something more….
Hera looked down at the scene of Piper and Jason smiling, they were just so perfect. So what if she had to keep a couple memories…..Their love story was perfect, strong, heroic son of Jupiter.
