First of all sorry if there is any mistake on what I wrote below. English ain't my mother language, I tried my best ^^' I wrote a few one-shots in spanish about them and this is the first one that I write in english so I'm a bit nervous…
This short "scene" is set up in a… kind of "alternative future"?

He looked the chocolate tablet in disbelief. It had to be a joke, some kind of insane, strange, cruel, wishful joke. He couldn't help it, smirking to himself… An almost invisible smile twitched upwards the corner of his lips.
It has been a while since something like that happened. They were not used anymore to that kind of things, the good ones. When they would settle wherever it was, and started thinking that it was safe to think that, maybe, they could find something good; everything would go downhill pretty quickly after that.
They were used to the worst, the darkness, the emptiness, the hunger, the violence, the sadness, the loss… They didn't know if they could keep living with another kick in their guts, making them remember where were they in the new world.
He lowered his eyes towards the blonde head next to him. Her bright eyes were trained on a stuffed animal, a dolphin with a missing eye. She reached for it, her arm extended. She had almost touched it when she looked him in the eye with one mute question. Can I have it?
He took the dolphin and gave it to her, a huge smile appeared instantly on her lips.
- Thank you, uncle Daryl.- She whispered, knowing they had to be quiet, that they couldn't be heard.
He pushed aside the hair that fell over her face, keeping her face between shadows of yellow and black.
- What did you get?- She asked, her eyes shining with curiosity.
Judith bit her lower lip, standing on her tip toes, trying to peek what was he holding on his hand.
- It's just… chocolate.- He said in a hushed tone, touching with his thumb the plastic wrapper. He tried to remember when was the last time he had one of those.
- Cho… Chocolate?- She asked confused, frowning slightly.- I think I heard Michonne talking about it one day… - The young girl licked her lips.- She said it was… delicious.
- Uhmmm.- He shrugged changing the weight from one foot to the other. That's what they use to say back then, yeah. He glanced toward Judith, her eyes still on the chocolate tablet.- You wanna try it?- Her whole face lit up with his question.
- You sure!?- She asked excited while he broke the wrapper, giving her a piece of the chocolate.
- Enjoy it.- The hunter said as she took the chocolate like it was some kind of golden treasure that they just had discovered.
The little girl took a small bite of chocolate savoring it slowly. Daryl took a bite from the tablet too, allowing himself to taste it with no rush. They both closed their eyes for a brief moment enjoying the explosion of sweetness that filled their mouths.
Judith squealed in pleasure and took another bite from the piece that was already melting on her tiny hand. Daryl chuckled licking the chocolate his lips and on his fingers. He took another bite.
Yeah, it was delicious, like she said. He stared at what was left of the chocolate tablet and decided that he should save it for later…
