Er, I don't own La Corda.

"Ousaki-senpai, would you like to play soccer later?"

Normally, Hino-san wouldn't ask that kind of question. Is she okay? Well, I couldn't turn down that offer so I would probably go with what she has in mind.

I walked down to the isolated soccer field where she would be waiting for me. It was a beautiful sunset. Perfect for playing the violin with a dramatic touch. Does soccer have any dramatic touches? I played sports, but since I became more serious with the violin, I rarely hold a soccer ball. With a sigh, I put down my case and started to run towards the field.

"Ousaki-senpai! You made it!"

I turned my head to see the source of the voice. As expected, it was Kahoko Hino.

"Oh hey, Hino-san. You startled me. So what brings us here?" I said casually. There must be a reason for bringing me here, "Was there something you wanted to tell me?"

"Nothing actually. Tsuchiura-kun is busy today, so I decided to drag you along."

So, her soccer friend was out today? Nice. "Oh."

"Well? C'mon? Let's play."

We started kicking the ball around, and after that she had a score of 3 while I got 0.

"Hino-san, were you practicing with Tsuchiura?" I asked, while she sat on the grass holding the ball.

"Hai. He's been very helpful."

Soccer with Tsuchiura, huh? That explains it., "Yes. He still has a little soccer in him. So, how's your violin playing?"

"I'm getting better senpai!"

"Good for you. Maybe next time we could play together."

She nodded, smiled a little, stood up, and passed me the ball, "Well, how about we play before things get serious again?"

I laughed. We did need a little time away from the serious world. A little vacation, that's all. So, let's see if Hino-san can shoot a few more goals.

A/N: Don't you think Shinobu is a little out of character here? Yeah, I know. I suck. I always think of these little silly things.
