Castle/Beckett have been married for nearly two years but Kate gets hurt resulting in memory lost.
He sees her in the corner of his eye watching the world she once knew pass by.
The car stops and she looks the building up and down. It seems like a nice place to live.
She jumps when the car door opens.
" Were home Kate " Rick offers his hand to her.
She takes his hand and walks into the building Kate looks around the lobby. It's fancy how can a detective own a place like this.
" are you okay?" Rick asked Kate
" how do you have enough money to own a place like this?"
" I'm a writer Kate "
" I got told you were my partner so I thought you were a detective like me "
" your the muse for my book so I observe you "
" okay, show me our home "
" off course "
They walk into the loft she looks around it's big and nice
" do you want me to show you around?" Rick asked her
" no I want to learn my way around myself "
" okay sure "
Rick walks into his study.
After looking around the lounge room and kitchen she looked over to see a wooden door that was closed.
She wondered what is in that room?"
It was a bedroom she thinks maybe is theirs?
A familiar item catches her eye a smile widens on her face and she walks over to her mothers jewellery box.
Next to it is a photo frame she picks it up its her in her mothers wedding dress tears form in her eyes. Kate had always dreamt about her special day it hurt her she couldn't remember it or him he seems like a good guy.
There's another door in the bedroom it's wide open she walks over to it. She sees him sitting in his chair.
Rick looks up to see his wife tracing a photo frame.
" I got married and I can't remember it, I wore my mothers wedding dress and I can't remember it, I can't remember you, I wish I could love you and look at you the same way you look at me and I'm sorry "
The tears are now in his eyes.
" I'm sorry that I can't be the Kate you love "
" come here " Rick said holding out his hand to her once again.
She takes it again and sits on his lap.
" Kate on are wedding day I went missing I was on my way to the wedding and a car crashed into me I was missing for two months and when I came back I couldn't remember the last two months it took hard work to get back to normal to who we were "
" so your saying if we work it at maybe we could be us again?"
" yes, so Kate are we in this together?"
" yes I want to be us again "
Kate sits curled in his lap listening to their love story. The story brings a smile to her face and she can see how she fell in love with him.
The following night Rick and Kate are getting ready for bed.
Kate hops into her side Rick moves next to her and wraps his arms around her.
" we'll get there we will find our way home " he whispers before they go to sleep.
