Summary-Ever since the Battle of the Bands concert, Alvin and Brittany haven't really been hitting it off the way everyone thought they would. I mean sure, they're both competitive, its in their nature, but quarrelling on about almost everything that stands in their way, even each other, is too much for Dave and the others to handle. Dave's getting married in less than a month. Simon and Jeanette are due in for a major science project together. Theodore and Eleanor are partners in a classy, worldwide cook off. And Alvin and Brittany aren't making things any easier for their family.
Now, this is where it get's bizarre. Strangely, during a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, an eerie light wandered through the sky and fused the eldest two into a rather sticky situation. And now, Alvin and Brittany have to remain together until they can learn to tolerate each other. But what happens when the rival, takes a turn for the better?
