Note: I get that this is the fourth time I'm starting a MySims fic over. I get it, it's stupid of me to do so. But hear me out, I don't know what I'm doing that's making my previous fics so bothersome. Is it because I've got too many subplots going on in the third very long fic. Or was it that we're focusing on too many characters? I don't know. But I think fourth time now, I believe that this time, I can finally make this work.
This one, however, is probably going to be completely in Katie, Chaz, or Crystal's Point of View and that's it (Some other Point of Views will be from other characters too). The couples that I had, I'll pretty much make one-shots pr short stories on them, but for now, I think I'll just focus on Katie on this one, like how Ghostly Light focuses on his character of the same name, Ghostly. So, here's my fic, that I will most likely focus on and not chance.
Also, Ghostly will appear in this story, and he belongs to Ghostly Light. A friend of mine, and a fan of this game too. Read some of his stories if you can, because they are good.
Simport, it is a city up in Maine, by the seaside. Known as the most well-known party place in all of Maine too. There was a couple things in this town, like a regular city area, an industrial park, a boardwalk, a forest, and a suburban area. There was a lot of people that live in this town, but one girl sort of stands out from the rest of them.
There was an event going on outside of the town hall, which was a wedding between two of the girl's acquaintances back in the Royal Academy, Travis Dylan and Liberty Anne Vincent. She wasn't really trying to get involved, but she joined so she can at least be supportive towards them, despite not wanting to be apart of this wedding. The girl has short brown hair that goes to her shoulders, had a dark blue baseball cap, a black jacket, a light blue t-shirt, baggy dark blue jeans, and purple sneakers. She had freckles on her face, and she had brown eyes. She really did stand out from the rest of the people who were dressed pretty well-dressed for a day like a wedding.
The girl is Katie Morris, a skateboarding college teen, who wants to one day be apart of her father's dentist business. She always had a love for two things, her skateboard and teeth. She knows a lot about both of them. She's also one of the tomboys in the town, and hangs out with most of the people from the fun side of town.
From the tree she was standing at, she heard the couple saying the words 'I Do' to each other, and they said their vows. Katie found romance to be pretty corny, even though she is dating Chaz McFreely at the moment. But she wasn't into romance, even in a relationship. The couple kissing really just made Katie chuckle more than actually clap in happiness.
The tomboy just shook her head, standing by the tree, ready to pull her Smartphone out to take a picture of the wedding couple kiss. But before she was able to do that, the sound of a boy's voice came out from the side of the tomboy.
"Hey babe." A male voice said near her, making the tomboy shake, hearing that.
She looks behind herself, seeing a boy walk up to her. He appears to be a year older than her, he was nineteen, she was eighteen. He has spiky red hair, blue sunglasses, slight facial hair on his chin, is wearing a black leather jacket, baggy jeans, and brown sneakers. This guy is Katie's boyfriend, Chaz McFreely. He bullied Travis for trying to date his girlfriend, and mostly any guys who thinks Summer is hot to them. But Summer and Chaz broke up, after Summer dumped him for being overly jealous of her hanging out with other boys. After a month later, Chaz and Katie took some thought into it, and chose to date each other after Senior year of high school.
"Oh...just watching the wedding." Katie said. Chaz shrugged, walking over to her.
"So...watching the wedding? Really?" Chaz asked. Katie nods.
"Yeah. I just said that." Katie said, shrugging at him. "I don't really like them, but I decided to come here just to see the two get married, and go to...I don't know...Hawaii, or France, or wherever a honeymoon would be at." Chaz nods. "Hey, where's Tim?" Chaz shrugged.
"I don't know, he said he met up with this girl who's dressed as a blue fairy earlier this week, and...he chose to go and hang out with her instead of follow me to the wedding." Chaz smiled, shaking his head at that. "I thought he was reading too many kids books, so I just brushed it off, acting like he was being foolish." Chaz just shook his head, and then looks at the wedding. "So yeah..." Katie just looks at the wedding again. "I'm not a fan of these things. And knowing Travis, I don't think I can really be here knowing our past." Katie shrugs.
"I'm just here for the cake. And for Ghostly." Chaz looks over to Katie.
"Ghostly came here?" Katie nods.
Chaz wasn't really jealous with Katie hanging out with Ghostly, nor any of the other boys, mainly because she's good friends with a lot of the boy. Also, because she doesn't really get crushes on other boys that easily. Really, Katie was a hard nut to crack when it comes to falling in love with other boys. Chaz was pretty alright with Ghostly, mainly because he can drive a car, and is awesome at driving cars around here.
"Yeah. He and Violet are here too." Katie told him. "I'm not really friends with Travis or Liberty, because Travis is too geeky for my tastes, and Liberty...not really friends with her all that much. You know?" Chaz nods.
"Liberty can be somewhat hard to be friends with, just as long as you're not an annoying partier." Chaz said.
"Tell me about it." Katie looks over to Chaz. "Hey...listen, I feel like this since summer, almost every single member of the Royal Academy are heading their separate ways, since almost all of us just graduated a week ago, and this is the last time that...all of us might actually see each other. So...just in case dude, just...meet me back at my house. Alright?"
"Hey. Say at least Ghostly, Annie, and Violet are friends who are most likely not leaving Simport, or be too busy to hang out with."
"Yeah." Katie looks out to the wedding again, seeing the crowd of students were standing up as Travis and Liberty were walking away from the town hall. "I think I'm going to head out to find Ghostly and Violet. Alright?" Chaz nods.
"I'll see you at your house so that we can watch a movie or something." Katie smiled, and nodded at him.
"Deal, dude."
The two went two different ways, Katie towards the wedding spot, while Chaz headed off to go find his house again, mainly to find a movie at his house to bring to Katie's house to watch.
At the outside of Gino's and the salon...
Katie was skateboarding her way towards the wedding spot, hearing the song 'Waiting for a Girl like you' by Foreigner was playing on the radio that was there. Katie kicks up her skateboard, and then walks over to the wedding spot, seeing that Ghostly and Violet were standing next to each other by one of the tables at Gino's, with the wedding cake.
Ghostly has blue hair brushed down, is wearing a black zipped-up jacket, black pants, and black shoes. Violet is a goth, who is has black long hair, a black dress with purple sleeves, and black shoes. They actually are dating each other, and Violet was able to get Ghostly to hang out with the goths in this town.
Katie carries her skateboard over to the couple, and stood in front of them. "Hey guys!" Katie shouts, placing her skateboard into her backpack, and runs up to them. "I'm here. What have I missed?" Ghostly shrugs.
"Just Travis and Liberty finally married." Ghostly said.
"I saw that from one of the trees from afar." Violet looks over to Katie, and then pulls a plastic plate off of the table.
"I believe that you're here for the cake, right?" Violet asked. Katie nods.
"You bet."
"Ironic how a dentist loves to have a thing for cake." Katie rolls her eyes.
"Oh whatever, Vi. Be happy I'm over here to see how my friends are over here." Katie looks around the place, wondering if the third person that Chaz said was here right now. "So...where's Annie?" Ghostly shrugs.
"You know the girl." Ghostly said. "She's probably off to the music store, or off listening to music back at her house." Katie looks back to Ghostly and Violet. "I'm sorry she's not here to see this wedding. She's probably miss Travis and Liberty being in this town." Katie raises an eyebrow at that.
"So...where's the honeymoon at?"
"I think I overheard somebody like Summer say that they are going to head off to England for their honeymoon." Violet said. Katie's eyes widened hearing that.
"Annie would love to hear that. She always wanted to go to England, aside from Australia." Katie looks down. "Also...Summer's here?" Violet points at a girl with blonde hair in a long ponytail, has blue eyes, and is wearing a pink dress. "Oh that bitch..." Katie mutters.
"Liberty wanted her to be one of the bridesmaids." Violet shrugs. "But after hearing what she did to Chaz, Liberty refused it. But Summer came anyway." Katie rolls her eyes hearing that. "I know, I'm angry just like you are at a girl like her. I wonder who's the idiot she's out with right now." Katie just shook her head. Ghostly just shook his head.
"Girls, let's not talk behind Summer's back right now." Ghostly said. "Besides, this night isn't about her. We're here to support Travis and Liberty's marriage, not talk about..." Ghostly looks over to Summer, narrowing his eyes at her. "...Not talk about her. She should be the least of our problems right now." Katie looks over to Ghostly.
"How can we not? Summer cheated on him." Katie said.
"Doesn't mean that she shouldn't let this night be such a downer for us." Katie looks back over to Summer, who was just smiling at a couple of her friends, and then Katie shook her head.
"You know what? Ghostly's right...let's forget about her." Katie said. Violet just stared at Katie, seeing that she wasn't going to through a fit at Summer betraying Chaz like she was expecting. Thank God she didn't, she said in her thoughts. "Besides, most of us and those students are...probably no longer going to see each other again, and...I think we should just enjoy the time we have together until the night ends. Shall we?" Violet and Ghostly nod to that.
"That sounds like a good idea, Kate." Ghostly said. Violet nods.
"Yeah." Violet said. "We can do that."
The two remained standing around the snacks table, until the night at the wedding was finally over. They were enjoying the night, as much as it lasts. When the party ended, Katie was skateboarding her way home.
