A/N: Wow, so uh when's the last time I wrote a wrestling fic? Haha, I lost interest in it, but I was watching some old episodes of Lita's matches tonight and HAD to write a Jeff/Lita fic…It's just a one-shot but oh wells. :P For those of you favoriting DX Girl and my other wrestling fics, I thank you SOOOOOO much, but I highly doubt I'll be updating. I'm really sorry for that, but I just don't enjoy wrestling like I used to. :( For those who read my SPN fics, I will hopefully be updating soon, I did write more but I dunno if I like it or not. Anyhow, please review if ya want. :) Also a special thanks to Dan for liking this one-shot, haha! Love ya, Danny Bear(aka Tomwillisrulz, hope I got that right, on FF). Go read her stories!
Disclaimer: I do not own anything or anyone…Though I wish I owned Jeff, yummy. :P
Lita was getting ready for a match when she heard someone entering the room. Turning her head after she finished lacing up her boot she smiled a tiny bit at seeing Jeff there. However, the smile quickly left her face when she noticed an unfamiliar expression on Jeff's face.
"Jeff? What's wrong?" Lita asked softly, worry to her tone as she rose to her feet.
Jeff looked to Lita, his brows knitted together before he let out a sigh, though he had yet to answer her.
"Jeff?" Lita asked again as she made her way over to him.
This time his green-eyed gaze met her hazel one, his expression was hard, almost a yearning look to his eyes.
"There's somethin' I need to tell you." He said softly, his gaze never leaving hers.
"Okay, what is it?" Lita asked, eyebrow raising slightly in curiosity. For some unknown reason, her stomach started to tighten up and worry took over her once again.
Taking a deep breath, Jeff let it out before speaking those words Lita never thought she'd hear leave Jeff's lips.
"I love you, Lita." He said, his voice gentle as he spoke to her.
Eyes going wide, Lita just stared at Jeff in disbelief, this was not happening… This was just another dream, another stupid dream that she'd wake up from, right? She's had this one a billion times, but for some reason this one felt different.
"I'm dreaming." She said softly, the only words she managed to say outloud at this point.
Jeff shook his head, a tiny smile coming to his lips. "No, you're not." He told her, watching as Lita's jaw tightened.
"Prove it then." She challenged.
"How?" Jeff asked, though he had a feeling he knew what she meant and he lifted his hand to run his fingers gently against her cheek. The gentle touch made Lita almost quiver as she kept her gaze locked on his own.
Leaning up, Lita continued to look at him, searching his eyes for any sign that this was wrong. She found none and closed her eyes to press a kiss against his lips.
A/N: Well, that's it. Hope ya liked it!
