It was a beautiful day in Wuzzleburg and Wubbzy and Daizy were playing Kickety Kick Ball. "Hand it to me!" Daizy cheered.
"It's Kickety Kick Ball, Daizy. I need to kick the ball to you. Not hand it," Wubbzy said, kicking the ball to Daizy.
Soon 11 kids ran into Daizy, causing her to fall to the ground. "Whoa!" Daizy said as she fell to the ground.
Wubbzy helped Daizy up. "Wow wow wow! Daizy, are you okay?" he asked his dog best friend.
"Yeah, but I think those kids made me fall and scrape my knee," Daizy responded.
Wubbzy saw the scrape. "Oh no! It doesn't look like you're bleeding, so I think you're okay," he said.
"Thanks, Wubbzy. I'm gonna go clean up," Daizy said, walking to the girls' bathroom at the park.
When she got back, Wubbzy said, "Are you ready to stop the chaos of those hooligans?"
"Born ready," Daizy responded.
Wubbzy and Daizy marched to the eleven kids, who were arguing by the big twisty slide. "Wow wow everyone. What's all the ruckus about?" Wubbzy asked politely.
"Oh, we're just Easter egg hunting," a short girl with orange hair and white glasses responded.
"What's Easter egg hunting?" Daizy asked.
"Good one," a short girl with brown hair and blue glasses replied.
"You've seriously never heard of Easter egg hunting?" a boy with blonde hair asked.
"No," Wubbzy and Daizy replied.
"Have you ever heard of Easter?" a short boy with blonde hair asked.
"No," Wubbzy and Daizy responded.
"Well then you've got problems," a girl with blonde hair and black glasses replied.
Soon all the kids laughed at what the blonde girl said. "Good one, Hannah," a boy with dirty blonde hair and black glasses said.
Soon a lady with short brown hair walked by the kids who were making fun of Wubbzy and Daizy for not knowing what Easter was and said, "I don't know what you kids are laughing about, but Hannah, I heard you say to these two innocent little kids that they have problems. Listen to me! I better not hear you all laugh about something like that again!"
"Yes ma'am!" the kids said, continuing to be all chaotic again.
"Are they always like this?" Wubbzy asked the lady.
"They are, buddy," the lady responded.
"Wubbzy, I think we should run," Daizy said to her gerbil best friend.
"I think that would be best," the lady said.
A girl with short golden hair and pink glasses was running crazy to the lady. Wubbzy and Daizy nodded at each other and ran for their lives. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" they shrieked.
At the Wubb Club, Wubbzy and Daizy reported their problem to Widget and Walden. "And then all the kids laughed at us for not knowing what Easter was," said Wubbzy.
"Y'all really never heard of Easter?" Widget asked.
"No," Wubbzy and Daizy said together.
"Would you like us to tell you?" Walden asked.
"Sure! We love trivia!" Daizy smiled.
"Easter is all about celebrating the death of Jesus," said Widget.
"Who's Jesus?" Wubbzy asked.
"He was our first religious leader," Walden explained.
"Yeah. He is our lord and savior," Widget explained.
"So all we do is celebrate the death of our lord and savior? That's so boring," said Daizy.
"Now hold on for a second. That's not all we do on Easter," said Walden.
"What else do we do?" Wubbzy asked.
"On the night before Easter, the Easter bunny comes to your house," said Widget.
"Who's the Easter bunny?" Daizy asked.
"He's a rabbit who brings you Easter eggs," Walden explained.
"Yeah! And other goodies," Widget added.
"Like what?" Wubbzy asked.
"Like small toys," said Walden.
"AND some candy," Widget added.
"Do they put it in a bag?" Daizy asked.
"You're close Daizy. They put it in a basket," said Walden.
"And with the Easter eggs, does the Easter bunny hide them so people can hunt for them, just like what that class of eleven kids was doing?" Wubbzy asked.
"They sure do, little buddy. Did that explanation help?" Widget asked.
"Yeah, but I still have one question," said Daizy.
"What is it, Daizy?" Walden asked.
"When is Easter?"
"This Sunday," said Widget.
"Okay. Daizy, do you wanna go make a card for the Easter bunny?" Wubbzy asked.
"Of course!" Daizy smiled.
