Title: Dance for me
By: Sorrowful
It was a clear morning, streaked with white clouds. The azure sky hung over the desolated mountains as if painted. I was situated in my assigned room sitting quietly in the balcony chatting with Doctor Gilmore amicably. We were both having a cup of tea that 006 had brought upstairs for us. I sat looking at the wide space of the lawn below us, as well as a dancing Francoise. Unaware of us watching her she continued to dance without stopping. Doctor Gilmore smiled as he focused his attention on Francoise for a brief moment.
"She was once a swan until Black Ghost spotted her." He said as he closed his eyes as if wanting to remember something. I nodded absently and continue to watch. "Black Ghost didn't know how to approach her at first, her purity of heart made it difficult to use a desire to lure her. She was so obedient and had no past of trouble either, unlike 002. I let out a grin and continued to listen. "But in the end, one of Black Ghost cronies sought and found not a desire but a dream, her dream to dance.
Of course, Black Ghost being the merciless person that he is, used her ambition to dance at his advantage with no apparent trace of guilt. My fist clenched for a moment and then I let them go. I knew that Francoise's innocent dreams would never be regained with anger and foolish use of force.
"Black Ghost felt that he should capture her at the peak of her talent, and so he created a fake contest to win a scholarship to a famous ballet school. I don't doubt that Francoise wouldn't have won out of pure talent, but this was just a trap for her. In the end unfortunately, as planned, Francoise won."
I nodded and was surprised to see that a smile unfolded on Doctor Gilmore's face. "Even though her dreams were crushed that day, she continues to be that optimistic ballerina s along ago. We are fortunate to have her on this team, wouldn't you agree?" I nodded and once again looked at Francoise as she moved through the air with apparent ease.
Doctor Gilmore stood and began to walk towards the wooden door. He was about to turn the brass knob when he called out to me, "Could you please tell Francoise to come and see me later, 009?" I nodded and for the last time looked out the window. The sky was no longer centered on the clouds but a brilliant rainbow that stretched as far as the eye could see. The day burned with the rays of the oblivious sun.
"The word shall see you as the swan you are koishii, but until then, dance for me."
Authors note: I hope that you all liked this; unfortunately once again I am in a slump. I just needed to write this down and hopefully it came out better than this writer's block is allowing me to write. As for the long space at the end of the last chapter of "Dear Diary", I honestly did not know that, that would happen until it did, please forgive me? I for once think that Black Ghost is a malevolent scum and so I decided to write this piece of work. I wondered whether how different it would be that another teammate looked through the life of another and see how their tragedies affect them all. Please R/R.
