Three words: Inter-House Experiment. That's what they called this. This torture device used to…well, torture us. They've actually stuck me in a house with three of the Marauders and Lily Evans and my sister, Bethany Foster. I mean, come on: James + Lily = James asking Lily out and Lily hexing James into oblivion, which'll be made worse by the fact that they're stuck in even close quarters than usual. Sirius + Bethany = both of them being the big flirty-almost slutty/ man whores they are but nobody but us to be that with, so that could create some tension and awkwardness. Remus + me = us being the quiet ones as usual, being the targets of Sirius and Bethany since Sirius wouldn't hit on
Lily in a million years and Bethany knows better than even attempting getting with James. It's going to be hell here. Well, maybe not quite hell, but definitely insanity. Stick around if you want to, but I don't recommend it, although it will probably be entertaining at times. Check it out…
"No, Potter, you CANNOT sleep in the girls room!" Lily was yelling at James, shocking, I know. "Just because there's no adult supervision here does not mean you can get away with stuff. Not that I'd let you do stuff to me anyways." She added, seeing his smirk.
"Aww, come on, Evans. You know you want me."
"In your wildest dreams, Potter." Sirius laughed at that, taking on wildest as a completely different meaning than Lily meant. I saw Lily make an 'oh my god, you did not just think that' kind of face at Sirius, and she stalked off to our room and slammed the door shut.
"So, Bethany…" Sirius started.
"Oh, please, Sirius. Don't try any of your crap on me, I taught you half of those pick up lines." Bethany said. I stifled a giggle, but Sirius caught it.
"What about this one? If I can't have you, I might as well take a shot at your twin." Oh, gee, thanks. I just love hearing that I'm the consolation prize, even when there's only one difference between me and Bethany: our eyes, mine are grey and hers are brown.
"Please, Jade'll never go for you."
"Jade, huh? That's a pretty name." He better be kidding that he never knew my name. I've been in all his classes and on the Quidditch team with him since second year.
"It's Jadyn, actually, but you knew that." I said.
"Right, right. Jadyn Foster." I just frowned at him, but he smirked right back. I rolled my eyes, looked at Bethany who nodded, and we walked away into our room with Lily. As we walked away I heard Remus talk.
"Looks like you've got a challenge, there, Padfoot."
"Please, no girl's a challenge to me." I could almost hear his wink, but what I did hear was Remus' laugh, hopefully aimed towards Sirius and not me. I'm not Bethany, I'm not just another easy target.
